Spring Is Here

Through the trees the sunlight comes,
Over the hills of white.
Melting away this once winter day,
Giving birth to the dirt beneath.
Picket fence surrounds the pastures,
Where the cattle are set to graze.
In the canyon there are branches,
Grasping onto the last snow.
Leaves are beginning to bud,
For spring is here.
