Max's P.O.V.
I wake up to it pitch black and something clinging to my waist then there is a flash a lightning and a roar of thunder. I hear a small squeak next to me and I remember (Y/N) is here.
"(Y/N) are you okay?" I ask.
"I'm scared of thunder and the dark." She says and I can hear the fear in her voice. I hold her tightly to me and feel her relax a little.
"Max." I hear a voice then a light comes through the door to reveal Ross with a flashlight.
"Ross could you find some candles?" I ask and he gives me a weird look.
"Why?"
"Because (Y/N) is scared of the dark and I don't want to keep her in the dark until the storm passes." I say in a demanding tone. He nods a little and waits till I get my phone out and I turn on the flash light. Ross leaves and I fell (Y/N) sit up a little. I sit up also and I wrap my arm around her in a protective manner. "You ok?" I ask as she rest he head on my shoulder.
"Yeah." She says before the thunder roars again after a flash. (Y/N) squeaks and digs her head into my neck. I sigh a little rubbing her arm with the pad of my thumb and she relaxes. Ross finally comes back to the candle already lit and he sets it on the nightstand.
"Thanks Ross." I say and he leaves. Me and (Y/N) get up and head to the living room and sit on the couch. After about thirty minutes the thunder finally stops so we go back to my room and get settled in bed. "You should get some more sleep we have to get up in like five hours for work." I say making her nod.
*i know horrible end of a chapter! Sorry for not updating yesterday I was way to busy with school work so I couldn't update plus the chapter wasn't even finished.*
