It was only yesterday when the things with Steve happened. Now thinking about it makes me cry and shake. Max has been inside my office off and on all day to check on me and see if I was all right. A few times I would break down in front of him and he would just hold me until I stopped and was ready to go back to work. It had just happened and Max was getting ready to go back to work when Adam walks in.
"Umm... (Y/N) and Max you can go home early if you need. Take the next few days off until you feel like you can get under control of your emotions. I know it's hard and it might help to take a few days off." Adam says. I nod and I start to gather my things.
"Thanks Adam," I thank him before standing up. In the time of me getting my things Max had already gotten him things together.
"Ready?" Max asks once we're both ready. I nod and we head out to the car. When we get to the apartment I plop down on the couch. Max walks over and looks down at me. I look up at him letting out a yawn. Max shake his head. He picks me up and he starts walking to his room. "Maybe we should take a little nap." He says.
"You make it sound like I'm six." I say letting out another yawn. "On second thought maybe it would be nice." Max shakes his head while chuckling. He lays me down on the bed once we get in this room. He turns off the lights then climbs into bed. After the little nap I did feel better. Max is still asleep so I decide to get up. On my way out of the room my stomach growls so I walk to the kitchen and grab a box of Mac n' cheese. I boil the water then I poor the noodles in. As I wait for them to cook I feel someone wrap their arms around my waist.
"What you making?" He asks. I giggle taking the box and showing him. "My favorite." He says. I shake my head. He goes to the fridge and get the butter and milk.
"I knew you would like it. Now could you help me so this." I say before turning off the burner. Max takes the pan and gets the water out with the thingymajiger (I forgot what it called). Once the water is out I put in the milk, butter, and powdered cheese then stir. Max gets two bowls and puts the Mac n' Chesse in the bowls not waiting any of it. We sit on the couch and turn on the TV.
* I have no inspection at all bc school is out. So I was wanting to know if you, the readers, want me to out on Max leaving the offices or not? Please tell me.... K bye*
