Chapter 18

For the past month I've been planning the gender reveal party/ baby shower for the twins. Alesa and Adam had been se nice as too let us use their house and help decorate. We had just finished setting all the cupcakes on a small table. We made purple cupcakes but in the middle were blue and pink. Adam and Max had disappeared about a few minutes and the guest had started to arrive. Everyone from the offices had arrived, my parents had arrived, few of my cousins, my best friend Sophie. We had started a white board for who thinks its a boy or who thinks its a girl. Max and Adam still haven't come back and we were about to have the guest get into the cupcakes. We wait a few minutes and I look at the big stack of presents picking which I would open first. Adam comes back but still no Max. I frown a little and see it starting to get late.

"Ok I guess we can start cupcakes." I announce to everyone. One by one the cupcakes and taken. After a few seconds people start to bite in. Adam looks at me with a questioning look.

"Boy or girl?" He asks. I shrug and look at him for about forty seconds then it clicks. "Your having twins!" He exclaims. I nod and smile as I hear the gasps then congratulations.

"So have you see Max?" I ask. Adam nods the points behind me. I turn to see Max on one knee.

"(Y/N) (middle name) Dahlberg. We've known each other for a year and I knew the moment I saw you I wanted to have a future with you. At first I was scared Adam would let me date his little sister but I was so happy when he trusted me. (Y/N), I love you and I don't ever want to be without. So with you... Marry me?" He asks opening a small box that he had pulled out as he talked. I smile and nod with no hesitation crying tears of joy and I extend my hand down to him letting him slide the ring on. He stands before crushing his lips on mine. I smile widely when we pull away never vein this happy ever in my life. Everyone congrats us and cheers for a few minutes. We all gather in the front room for the presents. Max sits next to me on the couch and I grab the first present.

I open all of the presents in about thirty minutes and Max takes them all to the car. They were mostly diapers, baby food, and bottles. Adam and Alesa gave us a crib which I think is one of the most important thing to have. We end the party when I start to doze off in Max's arms. It's about nine at night so Adam is letting me and Max stay in the guest room for the night. I get settled in the warm bed. Max joins me topless and with sweatpants. I turn my back to him and let him pull me to his chest. I set a hand on my popping stomach and Max sets his head on mine.

"I'm ready to have these kids." I say to myself out loud. "I would like to wait until I have these children before we get married." I say looking back at Max a little making him nod a little.

"Anything you want." He states kissing my cheek. I smile a little happy and content of how my life is at this moment.
