Beck's POV
SHE flipped her long, purple, vibrant hair before sitting down on the chair. If only she knew that she was truly gorgeous. She looked at me and flashed me a dazzling smile, before she motioned for me to come over. I walked over with the puppy I had in my hand.
I knew she loved puppies, because I had heard her and Zara talking about puppies. I knew she loved animals. It was the first thing I learned about her from the very beginning. Even when we weren't cool.
"This puppy is cute!" She gushed, patting it's head and running it's stomach. "I wish I could own a puppy or a rabbit. Oh my gosh - I love rabbits! They're so cute and they look cuddly."
"Which is your favourite animal?" I asked and she pretending to think about it.
"I love rabbits, I've always wanted one." She informed me. "I asked my dad for a rabbit, but he said he didn't have the money for it, so I pleaded for a puppy. But, he keeps saying how they're too much work and hold too much responsibility." She rolled her eyes to herself.
"My favourite animal is a rhodesian ridgeback." The confused look on her face told me she knew nothing about them. "They're a breed of dogs that are trained to fight lions."
"I think I watched that on dog 101 before. They're tan and big right?" I nodded and she repeated my actions.
"Do you want to play 21 questions?"
"As long as you don't answer me any sexual questions and shit. 'Cause that's a fuckboy alert." She deadpanned and I laughed, holding my hands up in surrender.
"I'm not going to ask you stuff about that." I made sure she knew that I wasn't any type of guy. I was just a normal, decent and somewhat arrogant guy. "When's your birthday? Mine is August thirteenth."
"November first." She proudly exclaimed. "What's your favorite fruit? Mine is pineapple."
"I like cantaloupes. They're sweet and juicy." She eyed me weirdly before bursting into laughter. "What?"
"I'm laughing at how you said, 'sweet and juicy.' Don't say that again." She clutched her stomach, letting out a fit of giggles. I nodded and waited for her to cool down to ask a question.
"Okay, I'm done." She announced.
"My favourite colors are red and black. What is yours?"
"Blue. I'm actually thinking of dying my hair blue soon. I'm getting tired of the purple."
"Dye it red. It'll remind you of my handsome face every time you see it." I smirked and she laughed.
"Didn't know you were cocky." I shrugged as soon as the doorbell rung. Oliver entered with a frown on her face and I sighed.
"Hey, Milan." Milan waved at her with an awkward smile planted on her face.
"I'm gonna go to the back." She rushed to the back, leaving the doors swinging. I turned to an unhappy Oliver.
"You've been ignoring my calls. What's up with that?" She hissed.
"I told you I've been busy." I truthfully told her and she snickered. "You haven't been busy, you've just been entertaining that hoodrat."
