I told Marilyn that I wasn't sure if I was going to be at work, because of the sleepover. She insisted that I come to work in the morning and go to the sleepover after. Heather and Latisha were out and about, shopping for God knows what. Meanwhile, I was stuck at work.
The doorbell chimed, reminding me that this place actually wasn't a ghost. Zane walked in with Latisha and Heather right behind him. Beck got up, greeting all of them.
"What are you doing here man?" Beck asked Zane, who looked at me and back at his friend. "I came to give my working buddy a drink." He lifted up the smoothie so that I could see and came over to the counter. Beck glared at me before sitting back down again.
I swear, this dude is so damn extra. It wasn't even cute how extra his ass was.
"Thanks, friend." I emphasized the friend because I hadn't talked to Zane in forever and here he was delivering drinks to me.
"Hey, you're a working woman. Can't have you leaving your job for a drink, so I thought, why not?" He smirked and I smiled at his cuteness. He ran a hand through his dark hair and threw me a boyish grin.
Latisha and Heather were behind him fan girling. Meanwhile Beck was grunting and rolling his eyes at us.
"I'm off the clock in a bit, anyway." He nodded, grabbing a seat and sitting in front of me.
"So, I was thinking. Maybe we could go to the carnival tomorrow and bond, ya know. There a lot of games that we could play and food." His voice had cracked at the end and I just smirked.
"Is this your way of asking me out?" He nodded. "Sure, I would love to go out with you."
Beck screeched his chair and went through the back door. He didn't even tell them goodbye, he just left with this upset look on his face. I just ignored him and focused on Zane.
I just came to LA and this was the most I have ever been out in my entire life. My parents were so annoying and strict, but since they wanted me to make friends they allowed me to hang out with Heather and company.
I could honestly say that Heather had become a good friend to me. I wouldn't say close friend or best friend as yet, because it seemed as if she was closer to Latisha than me. Even though I was the one who had introduced them.
I talked with Zane a bit more before my shift ended and he decided to go home. As soon as I changed and Zane left, Beck came strolling in as if he didn't throw a tantrum earlier. He didn't even acknowledge anyone except for Lauren and Heather.
I couldn't help but be lowkey excited that Zane and I were going on a date. Even though we barely knew each other. But, dates were for you to get to know the person.
"Let's get something to eat, I'm starving." I growled, once we got into the car. They both agreed and we went by Checkers to get something to grub on. Majority of the ride consisted of us singing to a song we knew or singing offkey to a song we didn't know.
I could honestly say this sleepover was going to be lit. It had barely even started and I was already having fun.

"Guys, I want a boob job. My boobs are horrible and they're not big enough." Pouted Heather. I shook my head and disagreed. Her breast were bigger than me, since I was just a 32B. She was in the C's along with Latisha.
Latisha was always complaining about how she wanted small breast. Every time I would say, 'Let's switch.' She would always just laugh it off and shrug, before going right back to doing the same thing.
"Girl, stop complaining. They're perfect." Latisha rolled her eyes at Heather and I laughed at her facial expression.
Heather took her shirt off and pointed to them with a frown. "These bad boys are not cute! They're too big."
"At least you got breast." I kissed my teeth and they both erupted into laughter.
"But your breast are perky and cute. Our breast will be saggy once we breast feed our kids." She frowned and they high fived each other.
Suddenly Heather took her bra off and laid down on the bed. Latisha and I looked at each other as in, is-this-girl-crazy type of look. Her eyes widened when she realized what she had just done.
"Sorry," she giggled. "I don't wear anything when I'm in my room. Mainly, because no one is ever home and my siblings don't ever come into my room." She justified her actions.
"Can I feel them?" Latisha asked, walking over to Heather. I looked at her as if she had lost her head. "What? They look fake and you know, I know if something's or someone is fake or not."
"I don't mind." Tisha placed her hand on Heather's breast and literally began massaging them, before she came to a conclusion that they weren't fake. I shook my head and turned to the television. We were watching Mean Girls, because what person doesn't love that movie?
"So, about the spin the bottle. Did you like the kiss you and Beck had?" I felt my cheeks burn just by hearing the question.
"I mean, I liked it. But, I wouldn't say I like him."
"You're such a liar. You're attracted to him and he's attracted to you." I called bluff and she shrugged. "He got so mad when Zane asked you out today. It was like his whole world fell apart."
"That's because his friend didn't visit him." They both rolled their eyes, obviously not believing me. I got a giddy feeling in my stomach, wondering if he really did like me or not. It would be pretty awesome if he did.
