After school we had went to the spa and were going to get massages. The massage was honestly, gleeful! It relieved most of my stress and helped me to calm down. I still excessively thought about what had went down with Oliver. I honestly felt bad for her and everything that had happened.
"Let's go in the sauna now, I'm freezing." Tisha suggested, putting her robe on and covering her oily body.
"Good idea." Heather agreed, also putting her robe on. She wrapped it tightly around her body. I already had my robe on, so I led the way to the sauna. They followed behind me mumbling and giggling. I couldn't be happy when stuff like this was happening.
When we got into the sauna we had all spread out and laid down. In here was steaming and I mean burning. It felt like when you were showering and had put the water on too hot. Satan was basically licking my back and tickling my toes.
"In here is way too hot. Are they trying to roast us?" I complained, killing the mood effectively.
"I agree, I feel like I'm being dipped into hot oil." Heather groaned, fanning herself.
"This is not relaxing at all. How about we have a sleepover and just chill." I shook my head at the request. "Did you guys forget that my brother is a perv."
Heather suggested we go to her house for the sleepover. I was hesitant at first because it took me hours of persuasion to ask my parents to even go to the store. I told them I would ask my mom when we got home. She had set the time for us to come at seven. We departed and went our separate ways.
On the ride home I kept thinking about Beck and how I needed to apologize to him. I wanted to be his friend again and I wanted him to forgive me. I was planning on calling him when I got home.
As soon as I got home I ran to my room and dialed his number. One ring, no answer. Two rings, no answer. Three rings, no answer. Four rings, "Hello?" Hearing his voice made me melt. I hadn't heard from him since yesterday and it was pretty long to me.
"Uh, hi Beck." I breathed into the phone.
"What do you want?" He grumbled in return.
"Beck, listen. I'm sorry for lying to you and the others. But, I don't have a reason for not telling Zane no. I guess, I wanted to know."
"No offense, but you're my friend I could never like you. I love Oliver, even though she was a pain in the ass and still is. I want to be with her and I hate how you lied to me."
Hearing him say those five words, literally broke my confidence and heart. I didn't think he'd like me and now I definitely knew he did not like me. To say my feelings were hurt were an understatement.
"I said I as sorry, what else do you want me to say?" I said with a bit of attitude, because I was upset at this point.
"Unless you can magically get her to date me again, I guess we'll never be friends again." He sighed. "Goodbye, Milan." He hung up with that and instantly I felt horrible. I wished that Oliver never found out about the whole bet and everything that had went down.
I kissed my teeth and went downstairs to ask my parents if Tisha and I could go over my Heather's house for a sleepover. My mom sat at the dining table, doing some work with my dad across from her looking over bills.
"Hey." I greeted them. They both looked up from their work and greeted me with a wave. "I was actually wondering if Tisha and I could spend the night at Heather's."
"It's a school night." My father replied.
"I know, but we thought it could be fun."
"As long as you call before you go to sleep and you call whenever y'all go out then sure. You can go and have fun."
"Really?" They both nodded. I ran to hug the both my parents and tell them thank you.
I left the room and headed on up to Trisha's but my stupid brother stopped me.
"You think you cool now huh?" He grinned.
"Don't you have a hoe, I mean your girlfriend to go bother?"
"Call her a hoe one more time, watch me Ray rice yo ass." I laughed and pushed him out of my way. I didn't like my brother's girlfriend because she was a gold digging hoe. My brother was at college and had a job, but she stayed home all day and used his money for her needs.
Plus, she slept with like six of his friends and he actually took her back. But, he loves her, so he claims.
I rolled my eyes and went to tell Trisha the news. When I walked in the room she was already packing our bags.
"I guess you heard." She nodded with a wide grin.
"I can't wait to go, it's gonna be so much fun! We can do pranks on each other like that cliche shit they do in movies."
"If y'all touch me, I'm swinging." I warned her and she brushed me off. We began to get ready for the sleepover. After we were ready we drove to her house. We all were excited and in her room acting as if we had no sense.
Earlier we had even painted each other nails and now we were waiting for them to dry.
A knock came at the door and Oliver stepped in. Shock took over both Trisha's face and mine, because we did not expect her to be here.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Trisha spoke what I was thinking. She always voiced my opinions.
"I was in my room and heard you guys making noise, so I came to ask if you guys could keep it down. Beck and I are making up." She looked me in my eye as she said that. I felt my stomach drop.
"Your room?" Trisha and I confused.
We looked at Heather who had a look of guilt wash over her face.
"Heather, you didn't tell them?" Heather shook her head.
"Uh, guys. Oliver's my step sister."
