"If you don't mind, I'll drop you home." Beck offered and I automatically wondered if I was dreaming. Beck Abate, the guy who hated my guts for no apparent reason had just offered to drop me off home.
I scanned his face wondering if he was being serious or if he was just fucking with me. A blank expression was held on his face, so I didn't really know if he was being serious or if he was just joking with me. But, I prayed he wasn't just trying to humiliate me.
"What's the trick?" I asked, raising my eyebrow and crossing my arms. He held his hands up in surrender. "No trick, I just need to explain myself."
"Okay." I sighed, knowing I had no other choice. My parents were on their little lunch date. Latisha and Heather were still at Heather's house, knocked out from the all nighter they had. Dylan would make me pay gas money and pay for his lunch, because he was extra as fuck.
I didn't have Oliver or Zara's number. I didn't want to disturb Zane by asking for a ride. When he already was coming to pick me up for our date later tonight. He was the only option I had. I agreed to his offer and we walked off to his car.
The car was filled with awkward silence, since the radio was dangerously low and we had a bit of tension lurking between us.
He heavily sighed, "Look, I've been a douche to you, for no exact reason. I just had a bad day and wanted to take it out on someone. Someone who I thought I'd never see again."
I looked over to him in shock. Shock that he'd ever apologize or even explain himself as to why he hated me. The last time I checked this guy wanted to get rid of me and have his friends ignore me.
"Of all people you take your stress out on the new girl? Then you get Dave to be a part of it and have Oliver directly ignore me? That wasn't cool."
"I know, I know. That's why I'm apologizing and trying not to be so rude. I know I said I didn't like you, but that was out of anger."
"I accept your apology, now turn right." A smile had found it's way on his face and it complimented him. We didn't talk much as I directed him to my house. I was lowkey happy that he had apologized and that we were cool now.
I understand that sometimes you're just having those days, but to go off on someone you don't even know and do that to, it was uncalled for. But, I guess it's in the pass now and we're cool. I just needed to focus on getting ready for this date.
"Thank you, for the ride and apology." He nodded, stopping the car. I hopped out and headed to the front door. I waved him goodbye, before I entered the house.
Dylan was the first sight I saw, unfortunately. He nodded at me and I returned the gesture before running upstairs and getting ready for my date.

Fine did and could not describe how good Zane looked. He was wearing all black and everyone knew all black on a guy, to me, was a weakness. Plus, he had styled his hair more neat than it normally was and it gave off a clean look for him.
We had just arrived to the fair and he insisted we play some games first and then eat. This was to open up our appetite and thirst, so he said.
The first game we played was when you had to get the rings around the pole. You needed at least three to win a prize and on every time I played I only got two. Zane decided to play and he won me a Teddy bear. That was the first thing he won for me.
Next we played the wack a mole game. We had to wack at least twenty to win a prize and he waked thirty one. The prize he got for me was a tiger. The third game we played was when you had to squirt water into the balloons and then get it to burst. We had burst all the balloons and he got me a rabbit stuffed animal.
We played multiple games and let's just say I had a lot of stuffed animals. A rabbit, monkey, tiger, Teddy bear, dinosaur and a fish, that looked like nemo. After we played games we decided to get some food and just sit down and talk.
"Are you having fun?" He asked, before popping a fry into his mouth.
I nodded. "It's the most fun I had since I came here."
"That's good," he smiled. "So, how's it going with you and Beck?"
"He apologized to me yesterday. It was unexpected to be honest." He nodded. "Beck, likes you."
I fake groaned, to make it seem as if I was revolted with the whole idea of Beck liking me. He grinned at me before chuckling. "You can't fool me."
"It's just that you're the third person to tell me this and it's overwhelming. I can't really understand that Beck likes me. He's with Oliver and they have a good connection.
"Just because they're together doesn't mean he's happy." He said, barely audible. "Listen, let's test it out. You and I will fake date. If Beck comes clean about his feelings for you within two months you owe me some food."
"If not?"
"I owe you some food, simple as that. Get ready to spend a lot of money of me." He grinned. "I love food." I rolled my eyes playfully at him.
I was hoping that by the end of the two months Beck and I would be great friends. I wasn't really looking for a boyfriend at the moment or anytime soon. Boyfriends were trouble and they often were the stress for majority of teenage girls.
I was perfectly fine with the idea of being single or third wheeling. Well, not third wheeling, because when I third wheeled with Tisha and her boyfriend I was completely ignored. They would openly make out in front of me and play as if I wasn't there.
"Deal." We shook hands and resumed our night of playing games and winning stuff for each other - well, for me. I could honestly see myself hanging out with Zane a lot.
