n// correction, this is the longest chapter I have ever written omg im sorry it took so long but guys,, this is over 3,800 words here... can yall give me an amen because dAMN I am on a roll w this story.

Another thing I'd like to address is that I am so thankful that you guys take the time out of your days to read this story and my other works and comment and vote and all that. It truly means the world to me and every time I get a cute comment or break my highest record of votes on a chapter it makes me so happy and all in all I love you all more than I love my own family tbh and you are all my babies and one day I hope you find the Derek to your Effy <3 So without further adieu, I have decided that I'm gonna start dedicating chapters to the people that comment and vote and share and support me and my shitty writing every time I post something new because I love my cherub babies so much okokok

ps I love liam so fuckin much and im gonna start including him more in the story as like a son figure to effy because we all know how much he needs a fuckin inclusive adult figure in his life that isn't scott or stiles and effy is the loml soo...

As the obnoxiously loud music thumped the floors, I scoffed at the copious amounts of children cheering and jumping up and down to the beat and the flashing lights that went over the crowd. Honestly, I didn't understand this school. They have the money for bonfires and professional DJs, security, sound systems, lights, not to mention the damn structure in which they set fire to, but not more paper for the copy machines or new gear for the sports teams. And with all the damage done to this poor campus, how the hell are they even allowed to put this shit in the budget? It just makes no damn sense. Also the fact that people are well aware of the underage alcohol consumption -- which I was "not seeing at the moment", how was this thing even allowed to commence? This school, man.

But I just kept my mouth shut and sipped on my beer, watching yet another teen with alcohol poisoning in their future puke in a bin. What a charmer.

"Hey Ms. I!" I heard a voice yell happily and drunkenly. "I didn't know you were coming!"

"It's free booze," I smirked, looking at Liam's best friend, Mason. "Why wouldn't I come?"

"Oh, I don't know, maybe because if anyone found out you were here as an active participant you'd be fired?" He laughed.

"Me? An active participant in drinking with minors? Blasphemy!" I gasped, leaning forward and handing Mason my beer, only to snatch it out of his hands. "Mason, under aged drinking is dangerous and illegal! That is grounds for suspension, mister!"

The boy looked at me with wide eyes at the sound of his peers commotion at the situation, causing me to smirk wickedly.

"Oh, you're good." He said with a slightly slacked jaw. "You are really good."

"Thank you, Mason. I call that one the 'I'm not getting fired today, Satan!'."

The boy laughed at me as I took another swig of my beer, looking around to see if there was anyone I knew and/or liked at this party. Part of me was hoping that Coach Finstock would burst in, out of the blue, demanding that all the delinquents 'clear the area' because of the shenanigans that was going to get out of hand. That was always fun. I remember him doing that to the school events that I went to back when I was in this place as a student. It was almost a tradition.

"So, you bring anyone with you tonight?" Mason asked, regaining my attention. "Maybe... I don't know, perhaps a hot, gay cousin of your hot, straight boyfriend perhaps?"

I laughed and shook my head at his antics, secretly loving the fact that everyone knew that we were a thing. It felt good being fully committed to something and someone that you love. It felt really nice thinking about Hale and automatically getting ten times as happy then I was a second before. Relationships are great. Love is great.
