School was over, and the school bus screeched to a halt at my stop. I got off, and Lily got off shortly as well.

I glanced over my shoulder at her, and she catched my gaze and locked eyes with me. I blushed and quickly looked away. I didn't want her to think we could be anything more than friends, plus, no one would accept me here in this town. I was not willing to throw away the friends and family I had over a girl, even if I didn't have much of them.

I only had a few friends, or well, a friend and acquaintances. Simon was the friend, and other random kids at school were the acquaintances. I'd consider them friends, but the only thing they wanted from me was to partner up in class when there was no one else available, or their usual partner had been absent that day.

My family was limited too, since I was an only child. My father was never around, and I only had a mother to support me. Even my grandparents dipped off, for reason I would never know. I would ask my mother about it, but she'd never say anything. I really only had an aunt, uncle, and their two, obnoxious kids.Small family, but I loved them none the less.

As I was walking to my house, I noticed that Lily had been following me. She caught up to my side, and up looked at me.

"Hey," she said, as her arm brushed against me lightly as we walked. I blushed at her touch, and looked down.

"Hi," I finally said, as I walked up the driveway to my house. I stopped at the front door, and turned to face her. Did she need something?

"You and me should hang out."

I held in a gasp, and looked down. She wanted to hang out withe me? Well, that part was obvious since she did seem to take a liking to me, but I promised myself that nothing would happen between us romantically. I had Simon if I ever needed romance, and I wasn't attracted to girls.

"Well?" she asked impatiently, as she started to tap her foot.

I nodded slowly, "Yeah, I guess we can hang out at my house, since we're already here." I opened the door, and walked inside as she followed me. I walked up the stairs to my bedroom, and threw my backpack onto the floor. She walked in after me, and sat down at my desk chair.

She pulled out lipstick from her pocket, and lightly applied it to her lips. I watched her carefully, and blushed. Her lips were so perfect. They looked soft and dainty. Almost kissable...

I quickly looked away and shook my head. I was insane for thinking that.

She put the lipstick away, and smirked at me. "What should we do?" she asked, as she stood up and walked closer to me.

I shrugged and looked back at her. She was close, why was she so close to me? Like a flash of lightning I felt her arms warp around my waist, and her lips smash against mine.

This was wrong. So wrong, it felt so right. As our lips locked tightly, and out body's pressed together, I forgot about Simon. Forgot about the forced feeling of attraction I had for him, forgot about our childhood together, he meant nothing to me. The only person who mattered to me was the devil herself Lily Petals.
