It's Now or Never

Love, Love, Love

For the next week, Monica and Beth manage to find her the perfect wedding dress, with the help of Michelle. Sehun tagged along with them a couple of times but hasn't had anytime alone with Monica.

Monica comes home from work and sees Beth bags by the door.
"Are you leaving?"
"Yes, Suho misses me. So I told him I would return early since I have my dress and we've done most of the planning. Don't worry, Sehun isn't going back with me. I know the two of you haven't spent much time together."
"I'm going to miss you," Monica tells Beth hugging her.
"You will be back in Korea in no time. Have you decided to take the job?
"I don't know."
"I know you want to, just don't let someone else dictate your decision."
The car arrives and Monica walks Beth to the car.
"Monica, promise me you will do what's best for you."
"I promise. I love you."
"I love you too. When you see Sehun tonight tell him I said goodbye."

Monica goes back inside. She feels sad that Beth has gone back home, but she's thrilled to have a week with Sehun all to herself. She calls Sehun to see if he's free tonight. Monica decides that she is going to pick him up and take him to one of her favorite places to eat.

Monica arrives at his hotel around 8 pm. She is taking him to Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong for Korean BBQ. Kang Ho Dong was known for its Korean style of cooking and taste. Monica was interested to know if it was truly authentic. The valet parks Monica's car and she goes into the hotel to get Sehun who said he would be waiting by the bar. Monica walks in and sees him sitting at the bar nursing a drink. He has on dark jeans, a graphic t-shirt, blazer, and sneakers. Perfect Monica thought.

"We're starting early", Monica says to Sehun, referring to his drink.
"I'm a little nervous, but I don't know why," he replies

Monica is still astounded by his newfound honesty. He is saying what he feels and thinks and she is loving it.

"Don't be nervous. I got you."
"You got me?"
"Yes, I got you. Now let's go. I don't want to be late."

They arrive at the restaurant. They take a seat and order. The restaurant had a round stovetop where you cook your own food. Sehun insisted on cooking since Monica insisted on paying. When Sehun has finally stopped eating, they talk and enjoy one another company. A couple of hours go by and Monica notices that it has gotten quiet. She looks around and they are one of the only few couples left in the restaurant.

"I think we should go." She suggests to Sehun.
Sehun looks around and says, "I think so."

They get back into Monica's car and she asks, "what would you like to do now?"
Sehun takes a minute and with a straight face he tells her, "I want to go back to your place."

Monica knows that he isn't playing around this time and that if she takes him back to her house, she better be sure this is what she wants.

"Sehun, since you've been so honest and straight forward with me, I'm going to do the same with you. I need a little more time before I bring you back to my place. I hope you understand."

"I understand, but I'm not ready to go back to the hotel. How about we go to your favorite spot to relax and unwind. We can have a drink and just talk."

"Ok, that sounds good. I have just the place." Monica takes him to the Moonlight Mile. She knew Sehun liked beer and they had the best around. Also, they would be able to talk and enjoy the free jukebox.

They arrive at Moonlight Mile and Sehun picks out a table in the back for more privacy. Sehun orders one of the specialty beers and Monica orders the whitetail buck cocktail and the bacon bourbon, caramel popcorn to munch on, and a pitcher of water.

Sehun is enjoying the beer and especially the popcorn.
"The next time we go out drinking, let's take a cab" Monica suggested.
"Why?" Sehun asks.
"That way we won't have to limit ourselves. I would enjoy drinking you under the table."
"You really think you can? You'll be in for a big surprise."

"Have you decided if you are going to take the job in Korea?" Sehun asks
"I would love to but, it may be best for everyone if I don't."
"Does it get tiring doing everything for everyone else, trying to please them regardless of how you feel? I don't know how you do it."

Monica doesn't say anything. She gets up, goes to the bar, and pay the tab.
"I'm ready to go", she tells Sehun.
Sehun realizes he may have gone too far as Monica takes him back to his hotel. She pulls up and he sits there. He looks at her and she doesn't give him a glance. He gets out of the car and goes into the hotel.

Monica is driving home and thinking deeply about not only what Sehun said, similar words from Michelle and Beth.

While Sehun is regretting his question. He gets in the shower and holds his head under the showerhead, letting the warm water wash away his regret. He steps out the shower, throws a towel around him, and start to dry his hair when he hears a knock at the door. The knock on the door becomes quicker and louder. Sehun hurriedly goes to the door, looks out the peephole, and opens the door. Monica walks in.

"You know, I've always been the type of woman that went after what she wanted. I never let anyone or anything stop me. I don't know what's happened. I feel like I've lost myself, but that stops now. I know what I want."

Monica walks over to Se Hun and kisses him passionately on the lips. He picks her up and she wraps her legs around him, making his towel fall off. He walks her to the bedroom. Sehun has been waiting on this moment for a long time and he did not want to rush it, he wanted to savor every second.

Sehun is kissing Monica on her neck. His body is pressed tightly against her. He turns her around and begins kissing the back of her neck. He slowly reaches around and starts to unbutton her blouse. Her blouse falls down to the floor and he kisses her shoulder. He leads her over to the wall and places her hands on the wall in front of her.
