It's Now or Never

A couple of weeks later Monica received a call from Sehun, saying that he had an overnight photoshoot and asked Monica if she wanted to go. Monica packed an overnight bag and meet Sehun at the dorm.

Monica was excited about the trip. She and Sehun haven't been able to spend a lot of time together and she was longing for his touch. They arrived at the resort. Monica got out of the car and looked around.

"It's so beautiful here," she said smiling at Sehun. "I know we're going to have a great time!"

They checked in and were shown to their room. Monica put her bag down and fell back on the bed. She then went into the bathroom. "Did you know they had a stem shower?" She asked Sehun. But before he could say anything she made her way to the veranda to take in the view. "Wow! This is so beautiful."
She turned to look at Sehun who was smiling at her and said, "here!"
"Here?" he asked.
"I could get married here," she said running and hugging Sehun around his neck.
"Uh... I have a shoot in 30 minutes. It shouldn't last more than a couple of hours and then we can do whatever you like. I'm going to wash up and head out."

Monica noticed that he didn't comment, but she just chalked it up to him getting focused for his shoot. Sehun left and Monica unpacked and showered. She laid on the Egyptian cotton sheets and fell asleep. She awakens to Sehun talking on the phone. She sat up on the bed and waited for him to be done with his call.

"Are you ready to go explore the island?"
"I'm ready!" She put on her sunglasses, grabbed her phone, and Sehun hand.
They spent the day taking in the scenery, visiting the local shops and museums, and tasting the local food vendors.

"Are you tired?" Monica asked.
"I could use a nap before dinner. Is that ok? You can join me."
"It's ok, but I don't think I will join you. I slept earlier. I'm still a little wired. You go ahead. I think I'll go to the pool and get some sun."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm sure. You go ahead, you're going to need your energy for later."
Monica kissed Sehun and he went back to the room.

Monica sat her phone and bag down and got into the water. A few minutes later she got out the water and sat down. She looked to get her bag with her sunglasses on it, but it wasn't there. She looked around and found it on the other side of the lounge chair. She thought she had placed it on the right side of the lounge chair, but didn't think too much of it.

Later Monica went back to the room. She opened her bag to take out the key card and couldn't find it. She called Sehun, but he didn't answer his phone. She knocked and still no answer.

Sehun stepped out of the shower, put a towel around him, and grabbed another towel to dry his hair as he walked out into the room. He heard a knocking on the door and looked up and saw Mi-Jin.

Shocked, seeing her there, he started to speak but she put her hand over his mouth.
"It's Monica, she's been knocking. You don't want her to find us like this."

Sehun looked down and realized how it looked. He removed her hand and put on a bathrobe as the knocking stopped. He hurried to the door and looked out the peephole to see Monica leave. He then turned his attention to Mi-Jin.
"What the hell are you doing in our room?"
"Well, I came to get the clothes from the shoot. I knocked and you didn't answer. I turned the handle and the door opened, so I came in. I was just going to pick up the clothes and leave, but before I could I heard Monica knocking. Should I have let her in? I bet you haven't told her about me, have you?"

Sehun grabbed Mi-Jin by the wrist and pushed her out of the room.
"I guess that's a no," she said smiling as she walked away.

Sehun picked up his phone and called Monica
"Hey, I'm sorry I missed your call. I was in the shower."
"It's ok. I lost my room key, but I have another one. I'm on my way up."

Sehun was conflicted. He didn't want to keep anything from Monica.
"Baby, I'm sorry about losing my key card. I don't know what happened."
"It's okay. I have something to tell you."
Monica headed for the bathroom. "Can you tell me when I get out? I really need to wash this chlorine off me."

The more Sehun had time to think about telling Monica about Mi Jin, the more hesitant he became.
Later that evening, Sehun and Monica had a quiet and intimate dinner. After dinner, Sehun promised Monica he would take her out dancing.

Monica and Sehun were dancing and having a good time.
"I have to go to the ladies' room," Monica informs Sehun. She kissed him and went to the restroom.

She turned on the faucet to splash some water on her face. She raised her head and opened her eyes.

"Having fun?"
"Mi-Jin."
