Your words,
They hold an immense power.
Power to either impact -
With good or evil.
Power to strengthen,
And appease the masses,
Or to destroy their ever growing steeple.

Their words,
They hold an immense power.
Words to heal -
To heal hidden pain or to break.
Power to cease!
The break of a broken spirit,
Or cast their hearts and minds..
Into a sea of pain.
"Words."
My words; even they,
Themselves ,
Hold immense power.
Power to bring down
These masses or to inspire.
Power to bring wisdom -
To fragmented hearts,
Or add ever more to their towering,
Damaged pyre.
"Words"
We are told..
That they can not,
Will not,
Hurt us.
Yet, with the power -
They truly are showing to hold..
We are learning that they -
Hold the key to great responsibility.
If we can not be humble..
What is the purpose of a soul?
"Words."
Such a silly little word,
Within itself,
To contemplate.
Yet, I can not deflect from -
This sight I've seen before me.
I've seen my friends tear one another,
And myself,
Apart.
And for but what?
A name?
A title?
Material things?
Such a pity.
"Words."
If you decide to use words,
As your sword for a blight.
Then I implore you -
Know what reason you have.
The reason you have to say what you must.
And leave those trivial grudges?
Whence which they came.
The past.

Yes, they are such powerful things..
But, alas, I am afraid.
Without the proper care and use..
They can destroy everything we love.
I ask, but this, of you..
Do be ever diligent and be careful..
Your words can become someone's noose.
