Down, She Fell by Whispers
┌──────────────────────────────┐
I fell down the wishing well.
No secrets inside my soul to tell.
I spilled my thoughts, like blood, on the floor.
Yet, you still come and ask me for more.
I asked you not to make me drink that potion.
I knew you'd laced it with a sinister poison.
Down, down and smaller I shrank.
Until there were no more drops to be drank.
I fit into the hole like the perfect doll key.
But you weren't careful, so you dropped me.
A taste of the toast and I was big again,
Towering so high, my breath was like wind.
My tears fell to the floor to make ocean waves.
I should've known, you're the predator and I the prey.
Through the forest and passed the tea party.
The hatter was mad, but the hair was a smarty.
And by the time I reached the podium, I was spent.
I had no argument, no sins to repent.
"Off with her head", my emotions yelled out.
And I accepted my punishment, so devout.
Only to awake at home in my own bed,
But I couldn't shake your image from my head.
