Dear readers , you have no idea what being sleep is until you are woken up at 5 am by a hungry dogs barking . So I went to bottle feed Artemis half asleep . I got to school tripping over desks and Patty kept laughing at me. I told her what happened yesterday and she got all excited and volunteered to help with the shelter .
And obviously it didn't take long for Zayn to show up and make fun of me . He's the boy in my who plays the bad boy type and thinks he is a punk rocker just because he's in a band . Not that you couldn't tell from just looking at him : that spiky brown-black hair that he probably took hours fixing it , just to make it look like he don't the leather vest he insists on using even where it's scalding hot. Not to mention the name of his band , "The Tight Shackles".... And of course his whole "rebel without a cause " shtick, that he maintains 24 hours a day .
So we're embracing today's 'cause du jour ', is it?" He butted in sounding all superior," pick that up from some morning TV show ? " I immediately answered: Aren't you the one who's always complaining about that we are sheep who never do anything ?"
"Well that is true. Better to devote yourself to a cause than just to be herded by whatever the media says is in style this week ", he said with that smirk that he used to get out of trouble with his charm . " If you need some help with the student council , let me know ,a'ight?
Zayn is the world record holder in making enemies, but you can't deny that he gets involved in a lot of cause. We were in the same class in the second grade -he was one of the best students but then his dad had to move babies of his job and we lost touch of years , he returned into a weird Version of himself . But he is part of the student council doesn't shy away from the fights over the student rights . Patty just used her patented mean look on him and went to sit at his desk . I kept scribbling ideas in my notebook on how to help the shelter .
What the shelter need is money .
Given the state of that house , ideally we should collect some money so that they can make the palace a bit nicer . How can I convince folks to donate for that cause ?
In any case , I think a good start would be to make people aware of the situation. I need to find a way to show people how serious this issue is . Maybe the best move is to document the problem.
