A Friendly Visit

So , my loyal readers, as we'd planned , today was the day to go over to Zayn's house to focus the proposal for the council . I'd never been to his kind new apartment: it was this HUUUUGE penthouse , it even had a projector to watch movies . We sat by veranda , and I brought my laptop to show him how much mow your we had gathered at the streaming event .

When I showed him the statement with the donations his eyes opened wide but he quickly jumped back to ironic comments about people watching others play games . I laughed it off and made fun of him saying he was like a cranky old man and he laughed with me .

He opened his notebook and we started listing all that we needed at make a decent fair at the shook . He started tabulating what we could ask the school help is with what we had to provide and so on . Together we came up wit a formal proposal to explain about the shelter and how important it is - it wouldn't be hard to convince the council with that document .

It was getting dark but the time we were done he asked neighbours I wanted to have dinner bride going home and knowing that my dad was cooking tonight (ugh!) I immediately agreed . I mentioned it had even a while since I saw his parents and it would be fun to see them after so long . But then his face turned sour and said it was only two of us - his parents had gotten a divorce and he now lived wit his mom but no matter where he was he barely saw her because she would come back late the office or had to travel to deal with cases - and his dad want much different with his engineering job .

He warmed up some frozen meals in the microwave brought a big bottle of soda and served us dinner . While we ate we talked about his band .

His band , The Tight Shackles .
He smiled and said the band was doing pretty well , that they had even managed to get some gigs and make a few bucks . With that apartment mind , it didn't seem like he was really proud to get profession offers as a band . He even played one of his demo tracks in his phone while we are . They had a pretty cool punk sound going there , which was just like him .

It was wrong late and I had to go back home . Before I left , he asked me if Patty had a boyfriend. I admit I got a by freaked out at first until he explained that the drummer in his band lad stopped by the school one day and thought she was cute .. And I knew that feeling was mutual. I winked and told him I'd work my Cupid magic - with his show coming up , it was going to be easy .
