So , my loyal readers , I was having a sleepover at Patty's tonight , so I walked back from school with her , as we used to doing once a month .
We were painting our nails and getting our gossips up to date - I brought several Artemis pictures and we just flipped because she's just adorbs . I told her about my plans with the shelter .. including my stab at screaming video games. She said she actually watched part of it, and convinced her dad to donate,despite him not getting what was going on .
Patty told me her volley ball training had been pretty brutal lately , but that the team had a real chance at going to the regionals ,which would take place at the state capital-and would be pretty awesome . I didn't know many people on the team,but tried to watch all the matches I could .. it was the least a friend could do right ?And she was helping me a lot with the project.
While we waited for our nails to dry,I told her I'd met a boy but wasn't sure if it was getting anywhere ...as soon as I mentioned that,her hands started shaking and she looked really surprised . I thought she was going to ask who it was,but she wanted to tell me about she had a crush on a boy herself the drummer for a band, The Tight Shackles . It took me a bit to figure it out.. that's Zayn's band!
I asked more deets on the boy.It was pretty obvious that she had a pretty serious crush- I had to tell her vent it all out. So I asked all about it: how she met,what he looked like ,the works. She told me she saw him when Zayn's band gathered in the school after classes - he was tall,but had a baby face , with long brunette hair. She spent another 20 minutes describing him.. meanwhile , it dawned on me that Mark had told me they had a show coming up. Maybe I could use the opportunity to figure out if he has a girlfriend .
Well , I guess I now officially have plans for the night Zayn's band is playing . But we are still four days out.... and I still need to finish the first phase of m plan to help the shelter before that!
