(These events are based on the ones that take place in the book)
We got out of the helicopter to find doctors, a gurney, two Jeeps, and an ambulance. The doctors were quickly taking Ian away.
"Wait stop!" I was screaming running towards Ian who was being taken to the ambulance.
Just as they were about to close the ambulance doors I violently opened them back up.
"Where are you taking him?!" I demanded.
"A hospital." A man with a slight Spanish accent, answered.
"I have to come too!" I yelled.
"You can't come with us!" the doctor said slamming the doors in my face.
I turned around to find Alan and Ellie, looking just as hurt as I was.
"We're going to find him." Ellie said putting her hand on my shoulder.
"That Hammond's a very sinister man." Alan said looking very angry.
We walked back over to Hammond and his grandchildren, enjoying themselves with a huge smile on his face.
"Where are we?!" Alan yelled.
"Oh it's just a stop! Don't be such a silly coward, my dear Dr. Grant. We are in the lovely San Jose!" Hammond announced.
"Where did they take Ian?!" I yelled getting in Hammond's face.
He started to turn red and look scared. "Well you.. see they are taking...him to the.. hospital." he stammered.
"Which one?!" Alan, Ellie, and I screamed in unison.
"I might as well show you the way my self."
Hammond said scurrying away to the Jeeps. We didn't even bother to get in the same Jeep as him.
How could he be so joyful when he just witnessed the death of many people.
We arrived at a huge hospital, surprising since we were in such a small town.
Hammond marched in, holding the kids hands on each side.
"I demand to know where Dr. Malcolm is!" Hammond told the tan lady sitting behind the counter.
She typed on her computer and clicked away at things.
"Ian Malcolm?" she asked with slight attitude.
"Yes yes yes, where is he?" Hammond rushed.
"6th floor, room 203." she said snapping on her gum.
"Thank you." Hammond said walking away toward the elevator.
Alan, Ellie, and I didn't say a word the whole way up in the elevator.
We all quickly walked down the hallway and found room 203.
I opened the door quickly and pushed the curtain away.
I found Ian, his eyes shut, looking completely lifeless.
Tears of anger shot through my eyes.
I felt a hand in my shoulder. I turned around to find Hammond looking sorrowful.
"You...did...this. If it wasn't.... for YOU. And your.. little....experiment." I said not being able to speak because I was so in shock. Tears flooded my face.
"Now, now, now. I think we all know that this park was going to be a success." Hammond said putting a finger up in the air as if he were stating a fact.
