"Baby I love you. I love you so much." Ian whimpered standing up kissing me from my arms, to my shoulders, to my chest, to my neck, all around my face, and sweetly on my lips.
These past couple of hours have been traumatic."I love you too, Ian." I whispered in between a kisses. A loud booming knock filled the small trailer.
"Iannnn. My camp is set up. I'm begging you and the playboy model to come explore with me!" a muffled voice shouted on the other side of the door leading to the outside.
"See. She's psychotic." Ian stated pointing to the door.
"She sounds awfully jealous." I said rolling my eyes as he opened the door.
"Come on in." Ian smiled gesturing Sarah to enter our trailer.
She immediately ran to the bed and slammed herself down onto it.
"Ahhhhh. Nice." she said rolling around in the sheets.
"You don't want to know what we did in those sheets." Ian grimaced as he winked at me.
"Probably nothing different from what we did." Sarah laughed pushing through us and towards the lab door.
I angrily shot an un-approving look at Ian who just stared at me blankly and smiled ever so slightly. He was definitely guilty.
I turned my attention to Sarah who was appalled with the lab tools and instruments. Has she never seen this kind of stuff before? Surely she would have if she was married to Ian. But he did claim she was manipulative. She probably only payed attention to her work instead of his. I'm not sure, but I'm determined to find out.
"Neat, isn't it?" I asked to be kind.
"Oh yeah. Ian never let me see this stuff." she said still toying with the lab tools.
What am I supposed to say to that.
"We were never properly introduced. I'm Beth Lohmann." I piped up sticking my hand out for her to shake.
"I'm Sarah. Sarah Harding." she proudly said shaking my hand tightly.
"So you and Ian weren't together when he was injured at the park, were you? Or the time before that?" I curiously asked.
"Oh no. We were divorced about 2 years before that whole shin-dig." she chuckled.
"Oh." I said.
"Beth!" Ian hollered from the bedroom.
"Coming!" I hollered back awkwardly smiling at Sarah.
I ran into the bedroom and found Ian on the floor criss-cross looking through the clothes.
"I found a couple backpacks we can keep our most important items in. Anddd look at this!" Ian held up a a pair of safari shorts.
"Are you actually going to wear those?" I asked giving him a confused look. He wouldn't be caught dead wearing khaki instead of black or dark grey.
"Of course not." he laughed throwing them across the room and into the trash bin.
"Good choice because those kind of shorts are hideous." I cackled. Ian looked nervously behind me and I saw a stern looking Sarah. Who was wearing khaki shorts herself.
"Well they would look hideous on Ian. Not you. You look amazing in them." I stuttered.
"I have to admit, I can be a bit tomboy-ish sometimes..." She sighed with a weary smile. "... So how about seeing what we came here to see!" Sarah said applauding her own proposal.
