Holy shit... it's been a while since I've been here.
So long story short, nearly two years ago I left both the Ian Malcolm books untouched, unread, and I turned all of my wattpad notifications off, thinking that the books weren't going to get anywhere near where they are now. I kind of gave up hope, but for some reason I could never bring myself to deleting my works.
Two years later... About two weeks ago I'm sitting on my porch in my beach condo and I think to myself... I wonder where the Ian Malcolm book has gone. Did it ever get any more reads? Did people even like it? What the hell am I doing just sitting here like an oaf, let's see. And I did. I sat my determined ass down on the couch and logged into wattpad and checked the piled up notifications. And good heavens y'all... y'all are just... oh gosh. I love yall.
I would like to thank each and every one of you for reading my story(ies) and for all of the love you've given me whether that's been a comment or a "favorite" (cut me some slack it's been a while). You guys rock and I love that so many people enjoy Jurassic Park and heck, Jeff Goldblum as much as me. It is so wonderful to share that love with so many wonderful readers.
Seeing all the attention and love my book(s) have received has honestly given me hope and has inspired me to start writing again whether I publish or not. A while back, writing was my way to distract myself from reality for hours, it was a truly therapeutic activity. Then I guess you can say I went off the deep end and just, stopped caring. I thought "Who even cares anyways?" "Why am I doing this?" . Of course, this didn't only apply to the books.
2 years later I'm better and have found my happiness. I am on a journey to find my true self, as fucking cheesy as that sounds.
To wrap up this sappy shit show, I would like to thank each and every one of you. You have truly inspired me and I can't even begin to thank you. If you'd like to I guess become friends or some shit hit a girl up, because I would love to get to know my readers and hopefully fans.
