I woke up to someone violently shaking my shoulder.

"Ian stop..." I groaned swatting at the hand.

"Beth, I'm over here. Keep quiet. We're getting out of here." I heard Ian's voice whisper from across the room.

I opened my eyes, surprised to find that it was still dark.

I looked up and saw Mr. Mendez, the young assistant.

"I'm helping you escape." he whispered.

Ian was packing our stuff up quickly. He had left my black hoodie, a white spaghetti strap, with blue jeans out on the foot of the bed along with my high top converse.

"What about the others?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"They are coming also." Mendez informed.

I got out of bed and took my clothes into the bathroom. I used the bathroom and quickly put on the clothes.

"Ready señor?" asked Mendez.

"Yes, let's leave." Ian replied.

Mendez leaded us down the hallway. We took the back stairs so no one could hear us leaving.
The stairs ended up just by the pool door. We all stopped to catch our breath.

Mendez opened the door and slipped outside. We followed him around the pool and to metal fence.

Another man stood on the other side. He was really tall and really muscular Mendez spoke to him in Spanish.

He took our luggage and threw it over the fence to the other man.

"We have to hop it." Mendez said.

He took a pool chair and set it up against the fence for boost.

I quickly jumped over the fence landing on my butt and the man helped me up.

Ian, with the help of Mendez, got over the fence.

"You first." the man said picking me up and running.

I looked up to find a rope ladder and a helicopter awaiting.

The man hopped on and held on to the rope.

We were raised up into the helicopter.
Mendez and Ian were waiting at the bottom and the man went back down.

I looked up, still on the floor at Ellie and Alan.
Ellie had her head resting on Alan's and was almost asleep.

Alan smiled at me and winked. Probably happy he had Ellie in his hold.

Ian climbed into the helicopter.

Then the man holding Mendez, who looked scared to death.

The man closed the hatch and spoke Spanish to the pilot.

"It'll be about an hour ride. You can sleep if you want, we'll wake you up. My name is Chase if you need me." Chase said.

"Where are we going?" Alan asked

"Back to America." Chase said sitting down.

Alan and Chase chatted here and there but I was too tired to listen.

I guess I fell asleep on Ian's shoulder because I woke up in the helicopter but we had landed.

Chase opened the hatch back up and we were in an airport runways.

We all got off and got our luggage and went into the airport.

"Dr. Malcolm and Ms. Lohmann, follow me please." Chase said exiting the Gate.

Alan and Ellie looked at me and Ian with sad faces.

Ellie and I hugged and exchanged phone numbers so we could stay in touch.

Ian and Alan shook hands.

We said our goodbyes and headed off to catch up with Chase.

After a long walk we got to a parking garage.
Chase opened the drivers door to a limousine.

"Wow aren't we special." Ian smirked holding the door open for me.

"I'll be taking you guys back to Dr. Malcolm's apartment. Welcome home." Chase said as he drove.

"Thank you so much. How did you find us to save us?" Ian asked.

"I am a friend of Alan Grant. We attended high school together. When he called me informing me he was in trouble, I did my job and a favor for my friend." Chase replied.

"I cant express my gratitude. You saved us, thank you." I said.

"You're welcome, Ms. Lohmann." Chase said.

Suddenly and all at once I fell into sleep.
