Chapter 10

[Shi’s POV]

“Pre! Saan ba talaga tayo patungo?”,tanong ni Min sa akin.

I shrugged, hindi ko rin alam. Natatakot na rin ako. I may act like I’m tough.. but that’s not the point. Ever since that incident happened.. I had been not afraid of everything and I just realized that being not scared of anything is indeed scary.

“Hindi mo alam? Seriously!”,singhap naman ni Zico.

“Kung alam ko, baka matagal na tayong nakaalis dito.”,saad ko naman.

Pero napatigil kami sa paglalakad nang may malakas na pagsplash kaming narinig sa pool. Agad naman kaming nagkatinginan nila Zico at Min.

“Are... we going to go where that sound came from? Please don’t say yes.”,saad ni Min

“But what if someone’s in danger?”,tanong naman ni Zico,“We just can’t let them die..”

They started bickering so I just sighed and walked away. Napatingin naman sila sa akin at kaagad na sumunod, shouting that I shouldn’t leave them. I don’t care. Pero bakit gan’to? Pakiramdam ko may hindi magandang mangyayari.. parang gusto kong umatras at hindi puntahan ang pool. Parang may makikita akong hindi ko inaasahan.. what is this?

But curiousity got the best of me.. and as I peeked at the pool. Napahawak ako sa bibig ko. No..

They’re still alive. They’re still here.. them.. what the fuck..

“R-Ria? D..Death?”,tanong naman ni Min na napaupo sa sahig,“Shit.. I thought they’re safe with Jae.. what the hell..”

Death was embracing Ria. They looked so peaceful. Napaiwas ako ng tingin.. I’m jealous. Death’s one lucky bastard.. a bastard that is one of the person I crerish the most. And there’s the angel of my life.. and the two of them are floating on the pool.

Cold.

Pale.

They’re now dead. Nothing but a cold corpse.

Rinig ko ang pag-iyak ni Min habang inahon niya ang bangkay  nila Ria at Death, Death didn’t have any injuries aside from some cuts and bruises na hindi gano’n kalala while Ria.. she was stabbed.

“Death died with Ria.. I’m s..sure of that. These brats were inseperatable as fuck..”,bulong ni Min,“I’m sure that while Ria was about to die.. Death didn’t think about jumping off twice and just let himself fall. Walang iwanan.”

“Mala-Romeo and Juliet. When Juliet died, Romeo didn’t even hesitated to drink the poison so he can be with Juliet..”,saad naman ni Zico.

“..together forever.”,dagdag ko.

Napayuko na lang kami ngunit napasinghap si Zico bigla.

“Wait.. they were supposed to be with Jae! Nasaan siya?”,tanong naman ni Zico

Jae.. that psychotic bastard. If it wasn’t because of him..

/flashback/

“Let’s make a deal,guys.”,saad ni Jae sa amin

“What kind of deal?”,tanong naman ni Min at napangiti.

Ngumiti si Jae,“Let’s play a game and the two losers will have to be ignored for the whole trip!”

Napasinghap naman ang iba at nagkatinginan, sa tagal ng pinagsamahan namin.. talagang mahirap iyan. Well.. okay sa akin iyan. Pero sa iba.. sobrang hirap. Sunud-sunod naman ang mga reklamo at violent reactions nila.
