A few days after when James and Sirius were training to become aurors while Lily was visiting Harry in his office when they heard a knock on the door "come in" said Harry, when the door opened they saw three people Harry thought he would have never seen again, in front of them stood Remus Lupin with his wife Dora and a blond blue-eyed woman whom he recognized as Marlene McKinnon from the photo of the order of the Phoenix Sirius showed him many years ago.
"Marly" Lily squealed as she hugged friend,
"What happened? Asked Remus, "you were all dead but then I don't know what happened, I'll have to fill a few papers" answered Harry "but first we should go home and have some dinner" he went on turning for his watch.
They went all at Harry's place and Ginny squealed when she finally hugged Tonks, the lady's started preparing the meal while Harry was talking with his ex-professor in the living room.
When James and Sirius got home they saw Remus there, alive, and they just jumped on him. "Moonyy" squealed James, but neither of them noticed that their friend was thinking, he was hoping for a chance that Marlene, his one true love could be alive too.
He had planned to ask her to marry him, she was for him what Lily was for James, she was that only girl who was able to give him what he really wanted.
As he was thinking Marlene went in the living room to tell the boys that dinner was ready, when she saw him she was ecstatic, before dying she planned to tell him about her pregnancy, but then the death eaters came and she could no more.
The first thing she did was to squeal and jump to him, he turned just in time to catch her and whispered "Marlene".
