(SONG: Don't Let Me Go- The Fray)
[Niall's POV]
I was walking up the sidewalk of Harry and Lou's flat. I needed to have a chat with him. Harry. During the day, he put hair remover on my chest while I was sleeping, and I hadn't done anything about it yet. To get back at him, I planned on replacing his conditioner with volumizing shampoo. I thought it'd be a good idea, for he'd always leave conditioner in his hair for a long time because he'd like it to be luscious. Luscious would be one way to put it.
When I got to the door, I didn't bother knocking. If I did, he could have easily been the one to answer, so I let myself in, since I had a key. As I walked in, I turned around to quietly close the door behind myself, just making sure no one would hear me. Once the door was shut, I turned on my heal, but immediately froze. Addy was standing across the room, staring at me with a confused expression. Her just being there didn't faze me. Why would it? I'd seen her a thousand times. But that wasn't the case. It was the fact that she was dripping with water, her body wrapped in a small yellow towel, ending at mid thigh. I could feel my skin getting warm. She was practically naked.
"Hey," I whispered, smiling kindly. Even though I was really uncomfortable, I didn't want to be awkward. I mean, after all, we were friends. There was nothing to be nervous about.
"Hello..."
I didn't know what to do. I couldn't just say, "Excuse me while I secretly poodlize your boyfriend's hair." Telling by the way she stood there, she was probably a little freaked out. That I just walked in, because I never told her that I had a key. But after a long moment in silence, she spoke up.
"Watcha got there?" she asked, glancing down at my hand.
I held out the bottle of shampoo and looked at it. "Oh, um-"
"You were gonna prank Harry?"
My eyes trailed back to her face. I was suddenly really timid, seeing that she was few steps closer than before. I took a deep breath. 'Just be cool.' "Yeah. Trying to," I said confidently.
She smiled. But it wasn't her friendly type of smile that she'd give to strangers or our fans. It was different. One that I'd only seen once, but when I did, she was looking at Harry. "He's not here." She stepped closer. What was she doing? It was almost as if she was... flirting with me.
"Oh, um," I mumbled. I couldn't stop staring at her body. Seeing her that way was really turning me on, but I knew it was wrong, so I glanced around the room in order to prevent myself from continuing with my inappropriate thoughts. "Well I'll come back with this when he is." I was very aware I didn't need him to be home to go along with my antics, but I wanted to leave for some reason. I lightly waved the bottle in my hand and got ready to turn around, but then she spoke.
"We can just hang out." I watched as her eyes slowly rake down my body, making me gasp for air as she stopped on the crotch of my trousers. I anxiously looked down, seeing a massive bulge in my shorts, and quickly brought my hands to cover it. I didn't know why she was doing this. Maybe she found out that I liked her. Maybe Louis got impatient with me and told her himself and now she wanted to mess around with the information. Use it against me, just to have a laugh.
"Um. No, it's... it's okay," I stuttered, drawing heavy breaths between words. "I-It's getting late, and I'm tired." I inched toward the door and let go of a hysterically fake yawn. "See?" She seductively took her lower lip between her teeth and nodded. "Yeah, so let's, uh, hang tomorrow, you know, in public... with... other people around." I prepared to turn and leave the flat, until all of a sudden, she peeled her towel from her body, letting it pool at her feet. "Holy shit," I gasped. I wanted to look away from her, but I just couldn't. I couldn't take my eyes off of her. I could feel myself growing, just scanning her curves and lovely light skin. Wanting to lift her onto the couch and kiss down her stomach and have her shudder under me. But I couldn't. She wasn't mine. She was Harry's.
