Clarke's pov
I was running down the stairs, ready to grab a coffee before starting the amazing day that laid ahead of me. I was running cause I missed it. Yesterday I had a hard time falling asleep, green eyes haunting me and I hadn't woken up early enough to go for a run. Two days and I already had broken that routine. I decided I would go tonight. I needed it. As I turned around a corner , still running, I bumped into someone. "Ohmygod I'm so sorry!" I looked down and was met by gorgeous green eyes. I immediatly extended my hand to help her up which she accepted gratefully. "Don't be. It happens a lot in New-York you'll get use to it." She gave me a side smile and I couldn't help but smile myself. We starred at each other in confortable silence for a few seconds before she asked "Where were you running like that? Last time I checked, class was the other way Clarke." God I loved the way she said my name. "Coffee. I need coffee. I was running cause I miss it. I used to run for an hour or two every morning before classes back home." Why would I even tell her that? "Anyway, I need to go if I don't want to be late to your class. See you Lexa!" I ran off without waiting for an answer.
The starbucks was only a few meters away and lucky me for once there weren't anyone so I was back to campus and in my room in no time. I woke up Raven "Rise and Shine Rav, I brought you your latte." At the mention of the drink she sprung up. "With a shot of caramel?" She asked her voice still sleepy. "Yes and no cream." I smirked. "Where do I sign to marry you Griffin?" I chuckled. "Wait until you've seen how messy I can get. Anyway I gotta go, don't fall back asleep Rav." I grabbed my bag and ran out of the door. I wanted to be early in so I could pick a great seat.
Once I found the right room there were still 20 minutes left before class started. The door was opened and I could see Lexa standing in front of her desk, her back to me. She seemed to be reading something. She was wearing tight black jeans with a white shirt and high heels. Her pants did justice to her ass, she was just delectable. She must have felt my stare as she turned around. I blushed and glanced at the ground before looking at her again. "I see you've made it in time Clarke." She gave me a small smile, showing no sign of having caught me staring. I walked up to her. " I wanted to make sure I had a great seat. " She seemed impressed. "Well I can tell you that the seat over there is the best one" She was pointing to one of the few black seats. "As a student I always sat there, it's not too far, nor too close and you still have a great view on the professor." I gave her a smile. "Thanks Lexa." I went to claim my seat, settling in, eager to see the class begin, as many students started to flow in. I spotted one of Octavia's friends I met yesterday at lunch. "Lincoln!" I waved at him. he sure was something, his gaze was intense and moving and his smile could cause some serious damage. I totally understood why Octavia was crushing on him. "Clarke, hey! Mind if I sit with you?" His eyes were warm ,and welcoming. " I'd love that, you're the only one I know here." We both chuckled at that and chatted about our expactations about this class. He was easy to talk to and his knowledge of art was impressive. The bell rang and the auditorium became silent all of the sudden. Lexa waited for a few students who were still settling in before introducing herself. " I'm Ms Lexa keryon as you know already if you've read you're schedule, which I'm sure you did if you stand before me." That earned a laugh from her audience. "Today I'm going to introduce you to what art history means and you'll see that there's much more to it than you can imagine." She paused for a bit, sitting on her desk. Damn what was with her and desks? She was gorgeous. The more I looked at her the more I was aware of her little gestures when she talked. Her eyes were sparkling, eager to teach, and her hands moved a lot. She mostly stayed on her desk which made me want to lay her on it, climb on top of her and kiss her senseless. Man, I needed to get a grip. I took notes and tried to focus on her words rather than on her body which wasn't too hard as her class was the most interresting one I had ever attended.
