"Wake up!" A loud voice begin, breaking the silence I was once sleeping in. I groan, grabbing the closest thing next to me trying cover my eyes, from the now shining light some one had turned on.
"Wake up!" I hear again this time in the form of a whine. I grab my pillow and throw it at the source of my unpleasant wake up call.
"That wasn't nice" the voice says full of sarcasm, laughing a little bit.
"Next time it wont be a pillow." I say kinda serious returning a smile. I look over at the clock, 10:47 it reads, moving my attention over to the door I see Rylee standing their with her arms crossed leaning all her weight to her left. she was wearing a long sleeved form fitting floral shirt exposing her shoulders tucked into a white skater type skirt that stopped mid thigh with her new cream colored wedges she got a couple of days ago. This was so something she would wear girly, yet classy I thought to myself when I saw her. The only way I could describe her was perfect, she was tan, with her long brown hair that was currently in loose curls over her shoulders framing her face nicely, she had baby blue eyes, with an amazing smile to top it off. She was one of the most popular girls in our school. Yet she couldn't care less if I was popular or not. We've been best friend for as long as I can remember, and she wouldn't let anything like popularity be the reason we wouldn't be friends. I was thankful for that.
"Are you gonna get up yourself or do I need to assist you?" she asks. Talking to me like I was a two year old.
"Why are you waking me up? Its Saturday." I debate with her, pulling my arm over my eyes in attempt to fall back asleep. Hoping shed give up and go, letting me go back to sleep.
Wrong.
"You promised me you'd go to the mall with me...remember?"
"Ugh...remind me when or why I promised that?" I ask just trying to annoy her now so I wouldn't have to go. All though I couldn't see her I could feel her stare directly at me, making me a little uncomfortable.
"Because we need to get an outfit for the party tonight." She says irritated. I move my hand away from my eyes getting up into a sitting position.
"No I was gonna help you get an outfit, i'm not going." I say. Realizing what just happened.
"Oh so you do remember." She says smirking. Knowing that I was playing dumb in order to not go. She just played me...She just used my own game on me.....and won. I think to myself stunned.
"Well played" I say glaring at her. She smiles
"I learned from the best." She says meaning me. She walks over to the end of the bed pulling the covers off of me. I give her nasty look.
"Gosh if looks could kill-" She began.
"You'd be dead." I say cutting her off, throwing in a smile so it didn't seem as harsh. Maybe then I could go back to sleep. I think to myself. As you can see i'm not much of a morning person. I slowly crawl out of bed taking my time, hoping to annoy Rylee.
Once i'm standing I look over at her and smile as if to say, there now what. She smiles back walking over to my closet is a triumphant stride. Leaving me to stand beside my bed. I could have stayed in my nice warm comfortable bed while she got my outfit but noooo...I think to myself annoyed.
I leave knowing it'll take her awhile to find something for me to wear, making my way down stairs, I walk into the kitchen getting myself a bowl of lucky charms. The best cereal in man kind. Once I get my bowl of cereal I walk over to the dining room table and begin to eat my breakfast. It was quiet, because no one was home. I was the only child, and my mom and dad were probably at work by now like they always were. When I finished my cereal I walked over and put the empty bowl in the sink. Making my way back up stairs.
