Time passed as Mr. klay and Mrs. Warllin tried to help me. They showed me how to do the basics. Giving me a voice activated helper. It only responds to my voice. Acting at what I say or ask.
Doing what ever I need, like calling in a nurse, providing voice automated books and reading them me, as well as music, and the auto of TV. My favorite part would be the the fact that I can still text and call. Mrs. Warllin synced my phone to the helper. When ever I get a text or call it will inform me. Allowing me to respond by talking. It was kinda creepy how it talked. But I could get over that.
That's all we got through today. Sadly we didn't get to art. But I was content with what I got so far. It sure was better than nothing.
Mrs. Warllin said she'll be back once a week or so to see how things are going and show me new things, along the way. Mr. Klay however never said when he'll be back. Or if he will. But i'm sure he'll be here the next time Mrs. Warllin comes.
When they left I was exited to try out my new things. I did when they were their. Showing me how to use them, but I wanted to be alone and see for myself how they worked, experiment with them. The first thing I did was ask the time.
4:13.
A smile appears on my face.
"Text Rylee." I say commanding the helper.
Text Rylee what?
"Text Rylee; Hey, are you busy?" I say.
I haven't talked to Rylee since I had woken up the first day. It was weird. Sure it was only three days. But I've never gone that long without talking to her. Even if that conversation was short, we always talked. I missed her telling me all of the drama and whats happening around school. I never thought I would say that but I did, and i'm sure she has a lot to say since I was gone for almost three weeks. Anything and every thing can happen in a day let alone a couple weeks.
Response; Omg Hey, how are you texting me, is everything okay? Are you okay?
I laugh amused, happy that she responded.
"Text Rylee; I'm fine, explain everything when you come over to visit?" I say in the form of a question. Waiting awhile for a response she finally answers. This was one thing I loved about Rylee she always answered as fast as she could.
Response; I can't right now. Sorry. But I can later maybe in a couple of hours. I can't wait to see you later....I miss you so much!!!
I was a little sad by the response. I really wanted to see her. But I was more curious as to why she was busy. Something i'd ask her later when she comes.
"Text Rylee; Okay.....Talk to you later?" I say asking making sure she would be coming.
After waiting for a response I became to impatient. Deciding to read. The helper reads many title of different garners until I decide on one that sounded good to me: Summer fling. I decided to listen to Mrs. Warllin and read more girly books. This being the only one or say my last attempt. I doubt I'd like it though, but why not give it a try.
I use to love these types of books though, she wasn't wrong when she said that. But I also wasn't lying when I said I didn't like them. I now know that all those books are just sappy ideas that we desire. There things we want to happen but never will. This is why people have unrealistic expectations of people, and relationships. We read and consume ourselves in these wishing they'd come true but the chances of that is rare.
I know cause these were the thing I wanted, with Hunter. But that obviously didn't work. So I guess I gave up on that. By not consuming myself with these fantasies I can't expect anything but the sad reality. I know i'll never get that movie type of love, so why hurt myself by wanting what I cant have?
....................
I'm really sorry I haven't posted in a while. And i'm also sorry that this is a short chapter.....i'm thinking of making most of them shorter comment what you think.
