I sat there gazing out the window imaging a better place, a funner place, I wonder what Ollie's doing now? Oh god oh god! I don't even know the guy now I having thoughts about him!!!! No this can not be happening! Snap out of it!
"Hi!"
Wait I know that voice! I gingerly swivel around and there coming into my eye site was Oliver. He wore a stupid grin that was glued to his face.
"Is this seat taken?" He asks as he plonks on down next to me.
"It's yours now anyway." I say sounding tired.
"Well you don't have to sound like that!"
"Sounding like what?"
"That!"
I give him the questioning look.
"Never mind."
"Well you have me interested now, and you don't start a story and not finish it. It is English after all!" I say.
"Miss Everfall give me a creative sentence about frogs." The teacher spoke firmly.
"Um I stutter. My throat bulges and puffs up automatically as if having a mind of its own." I reply confidently.
"Well Miss Everfall that was okay but I'm pretty sure you could use a better word than bulges. You would understand more if you were actually listening." She says in a warning tone.
Oliver smiles at me as if sharing an joke with an old friend. Then he pulls out his pad and starts furious motions.
Class is almost over when all of a sudden a piece of paper is skimmed towards me coming to a stop. I carefully open it up to find an amazing sketch of me with an added note containing a phone number. He smilies and my stomach flips with giddiness! This might be it, I've waited all high school for something like this, and now it's actually happening!!
