I hang around outside the changing sheds with Tilly. Tilly was discussing something about her make over and I have told her multiple times I'm not interested!
I dug my nails into my wrist wishing for an excuse. Luckily just in time our dashing boys stroll out in sync in a heated discussion.
"I told you, you have to be there!" Ben hushed.
"Stop it, here are the girls. Just leave it." Oliver finished the conversation with a curt nod.
I was concerned, there is seriously something wrong.
"Hey Babe!"
He kissed me tenderly and I completely forgot what made my mind a jungle.
I smile against his lips savouring the moment. Well that's until we hear the unmistakable slurping noise.
"I think we better pull them off one another. I fear they shall maul each other and they won't have any clothing on." I say in a disgusted tone, with a hint of anger directed at Tilly for interrupting.
"As you wish, my lady." He bows and I couldn't contain my laughter. My giggles were effective and electrocuted me shaking my body erupted with happiness.
" I never knew I had this effect on you. Maybe I will do it more often just to hear your laugh that rains sunshine." Smirking with satisfaction of winning.
Tilly and Ben had stopped to stare, trying to find out what they had missed.
Then I deliver a punch on Oliver's shoulder. "You still owe me pizza! I'm starving after all that hard work."
"What hard work?" Sarcastically giving me a cheesy smile.
"Well for your information Mr. Watching eye candy for two hours is hardly easy. It's seriously gives the eyeballs a work out."
"We'll we don't want that. That's what the Internet is for."
"That's exactly right and I can't lose the only good thing in my life!" I shoot back batting my eyes innocently.
"Harsh! So that's how you going to play it. Hard to get. Well challenge accepted!!" He says in a miraculous tone.
I giggle at his devious ways to 'wow' me. I had clearly won this smart remark battle and I wouldn't let him forget it!
"Food then?" Ollie asks giving me a knowing smile.
I give him an agreeing smile through the laughter and we part ways with Tilly and Ben, who was off on there own little exhibition.
I receive some looks from Tilly indicating my success and wishing me luck also the little note on the edge. We will be talking about this later and you can't get out of this one.
Then we end up in the same place it all sparked. His 4WD truck mocks me in cleanliness aspects. The city lights swarm all around us like bees on work duties. Cars fly past making no hint of kindness or compassion on the roads. Lost in my own daydream I don't realise we have pulled into a nice dinner.
"We'll I don't think we will get served out here cupcake." He teases.
My cheeks betray me with a very heated blush.
