Kellin groaned as Copeland started crying for the third time tonight, "Babe, it's your turn." He mumbled and went to hit Oli just to feel that he wasnt there. His eyes widened, sat up straight and grabbed the baby monitor.

Kellin sat for a few minutes listening to Oli whisper sweet nothings into their little babies ears until she slowly fell asleep. Yes Copeland was old enough now to get up when she wanted to and come see us but she doesn't. She likes to stay in bed because it's warm and she doesn't want to wake her Daddies up. Her words not Kellins nor Oli's.

Oli sat with her for a few more minutes making sure she had fallen asleep before coming back to the room to find that his precious Kellin had fallen asleep against the head board with the baby monitor in hand.

Oli placed the baby monitor on the bedside draw then picked up Kellin and layed him down against his pillow, lightly setting the duvet cover over his small body.

"I love you precious." Oli mumbled before going back to sleep himself

-

"Cope! Time for school! Get up."

"But daaaaad," she groaned. Kellin smiled lovingly at her. She nodded and shoved him out of the room so she can go to the shower.

Today was Copeland's very first day of school and Kellin was very upset that his baby girl was finally starting to grow up. Soon enough she will be going to college, starting a family, getting married. All of this made Kellin start to tear up.

"Oh, baby, what's wrong?" Oli said as Kellin walked into the kitchen where his husband was preparing Copes lunch box.

"She is growing up so quickly!" Kellin sobbed into Oli's shoulder. Oli whispered sweet nothings into Kellins ear, rubbing his back until he calmed down.

"Go sit on the couch, Love. I'll fix ya some tea." Oli said kissing Kellins forehead before Kellin made his was towards the lounge room, their kitten Jaspa following him.

Kellin sat on the couch and played with the small animal before his husband came into the room with a warm cup of tea and some freshly baked cookies he had made the night before, "There you go, love."

"Thanks babe." Kellin said, taking a sip of his tea. Oli rubbed his shoulder and walked off to finish packing her lunch.

Copeland came down the stairs with a bounce in her step, giggling as one of her toys swung in her hands and she ran over to Kellin, "Daddy!"

"Hey princess, you ready for your first day?" He said and fixed her tutu, making it all neat and tidy.

"Yes Daddy! I'm going to miss you though." She frowned and Kellin watched as tears gathered in her eyes and her bottom lip quivered.

"Aw baby, we'll get icecream after, mint choc-chip, your favorite!" Copeland got off of Kellin and jumped up and down, continuously yelling icecream, "put your shoes on!"

Kellin, Oliver and Copeland pulled upto the school, all stepping out of the car and making their way to the front desk.

"Copeland Sykes?" Kellin said to the receptionist. She have him a sheet of paper to sign and her class number with directions. Oliver and Kellin watched as their little girl skipped off to find her classroom, "I can't believe she's nearly four. Four!" Kellin exaggerated to his husband.

"I know. Soon she'll be 16 'nd givin' us attitude." Oliver said in his english accent that Kellin adored.

Kellin rolled his eyes, "Don't remind me." They quickly followed after the small child and walked into the classroom filled with small children and their parents. They made their way to the teachers and introduced themselves to her, having a conversation about the oncoming school year.

Kellin and Oliver said goodbye to their daughter and wiped tears away as they walked out to their car.

Maturing is a big deal of growing up, and Kellin is sure ashell he matured a lot.
