Rin POV

"Yuki-chan!!!" I yelled. "Wake up! Sensei's gonna kill us if we're late again!!" I shook my best friend until she awoke.

"What. Do. You. Want??!!!!!"

"School." I smiled and ran out of her room and down the stairs. About 3 minutes later I heard her run down the stairs and out the door. Knowing she'd forget her lunch, I grabbed it and headed out.

"Argh!!! We're gonna be late!!! Could you be any slower??!!" She called after me. I smiled and continued walking towards the school.

"Changing the time back 30 minutes on your alarm clock was totally worth it." I said once we had reached the school. She stopped dead in her tracks and turned towards me with a death glare.

"You did what??!! So we're actually early????" I nodded.

"Yup" and headed to my first class.

----------

It was English and I had my head laid down on my desk and was trying desperately hard not to rip my book in half. We were doing a manga study. And it was Naruto. It was on every day when I was a kid, heck, they're still making new seasons. Almost everyone I knew was talking about " how great it was" and why they couldn't "fall into the Naruto universe". It was sickening. They all acted like ninja and the teachers were breaking up fights almost everyday. Bag checks started because kids would even bring weapons to school.

"Rin, Rin!!!" Yuki poked me.

"Nani baka??!!" I yelled gaining the entire classes attention. She pointed at the teacher, who looked pissed.

"Rin, for the fifth time. Please read Sakura's part." He sounded very tired.

"What?! Why do I have to read that lazy ass bi....hehe.....I mean useless characters part?" A lot of other students started laughing and the teacher glared at me, and the kids who actually liked Sakura, well, let's just say I won't be having a pleasant lunch. Great.

Yuki POV

Nice one Rin. Smooth. I rolled my eyes. I didn't really like Naruto either but, at lease I kept silent. Now those kids are gonna get her again. I just sat back and closed my eyes for the rest of class.

------

"Yes!! Finally! No more school for two weeks!" Rin exclaimed. She hates school, but she goes anyways, just to piss off her teachers with her attitude. I have to admit, it does make our classes a little more enjoyable. She is my best friend after all, but we are kinda like sister. We do almost everything together. I even live with her family. My parents disappeared from my life a few years ago and I actually can't remember anything about them. Rin's family consists of her mom and dad, Sara and Kai Kitsune, and her twin brother, Daichi. We live in Tokyo, Japan in a large house. I have my own room, but Daichi and Rin share. I can't believe how close those two are. Apparently they've been like this since they were born. To be honest, I do get a little jealous.

"Yuki? You ok?" I blinked.

"Huh? Oh yea. I'm fine. I just zoned out." I smiled to show I was ok.

"Well, you almost walked into the door.." I looked and sure enough, it was just a couple centimetres from my face.

"Hehe... Totally meant to do that."

"okay..." She unlocked the door and walked in, looked up and her face went pale. I looked to see what she saw, and it was a pair of red eyes. The last thing I saw was a hand coming towards my face and poke my forehead, then my world came spiralling down, memories flashing, each being erased one by one, until they were all gone. And all that was left, was emptiness. And darkness.
