Circumstances

Teamwork exercise:

Itachi POV

The sound of running water and wind was calming. I nuzzled Rin's hair and felt her stir.

"Hmm?" She mumbled. I smiled.

"Morning." She started to sit up and looked at me.

"Morning." She smiled and looked around. "Uh..what time is it?"

"10ish.. Maybe?" I said.

"Ah crap! Moms gonna kill me!" She quickly got dressed and made herself look a little more presentable, at least for the village. *wink* I got up and put my shirt and strapped my katana back on. With one last kiss we both left.

"Hey Itachi! Where were you?" I looked up and saw Kisame leaning up against a tree.

"Out."

"Rin?" I didn't answer.

"That answers my question. Pein called a meeting. It's about the jinchurikis."

Yuki POV

Where the hell is Rin??! Ugh. Once again, she's been out all night with Itachi. I mean, what's so special about him? He killed his clan!! And left Sasuke to suffer! I really would like to just sink my teeth into him and kill him. Oh yes. That would be fun.

Rin POV

I ran to Yuki's house and walked upstairs to her room. I opened her door and saw her surrounded by a strange aura and a very creepy look on her face... *shiver*

"Uh, Yuki?"

"Where is he?" I looked at her.

"Where is who?"

"Him. Where is he? Itachi." I face palmed. Not this again.

"*sigh.* Yuki, you really need to stop this." I took the collar off my belt loop and put it on her, turning her into a wolf.

"Rin! What was that for?!!" She growled telepathically. I smirked.

"For being an idiot. And a jealous one at that." She glared at me.

"I'm not an idiot! And I'm not jealous!"

"Then how do you explain the creepy aura and voice?" She turned her head.

"Hn"

"You've been spending too much time with Sasuke." I got up and walked away, pausing at the door for a second. "Thanks for not saying anything." She nodded and I walked out of her house and headed home.

"Rin....." Mom had shadows over her eyes. I gulped.

"Y-yes?"

"Where the hell have you been the last couple of days???!!!!" She yelled.

"Um.. Y-Yuki's..."

"Don't give me that crap! I know you two well enough that she was just covering your ass! Now tell me or I'll beat it out of you!!"

"I was... Training."

"Try again."

"Fine. I was at our place!!" She looked down. She knew it was where me and Itachi spent a lot of our time. She has only been there once but was blindfolded so she wouldn't find it.
