Yuki POV

"Rin-chan! Wait up!" We were heading towards the academy. It was our graduation day. Yea yea, we're only six but we are very advanced. Nii-san is a jōnin. Otou-san killed himself when we were playing outside with Rin, Gai, and a bunch of others a couple years ago.

"Well run faster ya slow poke!" I raised an eyebrow.

"Who you calling slow?"

"Me!" She pointed at herself.

"Rin!" Another voice called. I looked over and Itachi was running towards her. Geez. Why does he have to always be so friendly with her?! It's annoying.

"Hey Itachi!" Rin called back happily. They've been friends for a long time. Yea. I'm jealous. "Ready for exams?"

"Yup. You are gonna pass. I'm sure if it." I rolled my eyes. Ew. He looked over at me. "You too Yuki." I just rolled my eyes and continued to walk to the academy.

I sat down in my usual spot beside Kaoru Inuzuka and his dog, Okami and Rin sat beside Itachi. Geez. Just kiss already.

"Hey Yuki." I blushed. Ahh! Why am I blushing??

"H-hi.. Kaoru-Kun." He sat back.

"How many times do I have to tell you to just call me Kaoru?" He sighed.

"S-sorry." He looked over at me.

"What's wrong?" Now it was my turn to sit back.

"Rin and Itachi. I mean, Rin is supposed to be my best friend! But all she does is hang out with him."

"Awe come on. He just likes her. That's all." I smirked.

"Shall we go down that road of conversation?" He smiled.

"We shall."

Rin POV

"Rin Uzumaki-Namikaze." I looked up. My turn.

"Good luck." Itachi smiled at me.

"Thanks." I went down and went into the exam room.

"Ok Rin, make 3 copies of yourself, then make a copy of me and finally, use a substitution." Sensei said.

"Hai!" I did all of them perfectly.

"Very well done. But that's expected from you." He smiled and handed me a black hitai-ate. "Here you are. Congrats on becoming a genin!" I smiled and put it around my neck.

"Arigato Sensei!" I bowed then left. I waited outside for Yuki and Itachi. Itachi came out like 5 minutes after me.

"I passed!" I gave him a thumbs up.

"Yea! Good job!" He smiled. He was also 6 like me and Yuki, same with Kaoru. "Let's wait for Yuki, ok?"

"Ok." We talked for a while and then we saw Kaoru walk out, look at us and smirk, then run towards us.

"Hey Kaoru? Is Yuki still waiting?"

"No. She was right after me so she should be done soon."

"Ok." He had his hitai-ate around his arm. A couple minutes Yuki came out and ran towards up. "Hey Yuki! How'd ya do?" She smiled.
