Karkat looked back at Rufioh and Cronus chasing him, when he was turned around a bullet whizzed by and left a gash in the side of his arm. He was frozen as a soldier stopped him, pointing a gun in his direction. Rufioh and Cronus soon appeared out of the woods, glaring at the other soldier.

"He came running up at me! I'm suppose to be on patrol! I had to shoot him! I thought he was going to attack me or something!" The soldier acted nervous as he spoke the words that Cronus translated.

"I don't care if you're suppose to be on patrol!! You just shot a fucking eight year old!! Do you know how insane you are?!" Rufioh yelled as Kankri and Eridan showed up.

Kankri ran over and hugged his brother, trying to get him to speak or have a reaction.

The German soldier was approached by another, who stared at Rufioh for a moment. "Who are you?" He asked in English, knowing Rufioh was American by the uniform.

"What does it matter? You sho-"

"You will say who you are or I will contact your commanding officer and explain how you've failed your mission!" The German glared at Rufioh, he obviously knew more than he was suppose to.

Rufioh stood up straight, looking more professional. He knew exactly what the German meant by "you failed your mission", if Rufioh didn't speak he would shoot everyone.  "Rufioh Nitram." He finally said.

"Alright Nitram, who are they? What are you doing over here?"

"I was patrolling the area when I came across them. They seemed to be camping out and I wanted to help them. The youngest one, which your other officer shot, was ill and I wanted to help. That's what was happening, sir." Rufioh lied through his teeth, but he made it believable.

Cronus stared at him in shock. He thought Rufioh would say their first names and give them up, he didn't.

"Is that so? Why are you patrolling the railroads in Germany? Where is your base?" The soldier crossed his arms, hoping Rufioh would give up more information.

"That is not information I am willing to give up. My base is classified, as you would know." Rufioh knew that there was another base near the train tracks, even if he didn't know exactly where it was, this could potentially danger everyone near the base. He reached for his gun, keeping his hand on it.

The soldier motioned for a few other soldiers to come forward. Seven soldiers came from behind the first. He said something to them in German, Cronus caught what they said luckily. One of them pointed a gun at Kankri.

"Do not say anything..." Cronus said, knowing Rufioh would defend them.

One of the soldiers pointed a gun at Kankri. He said something and Kankri didn't respond. The gun was pressed against Kankri's forehead.

Rufioh pulled out his gun, but Cronus grabbed his hand. "I said not to do anything. We have nothing to do."

"What?! Of course we can do something! Are you insane?! We have to help them! They're going to take you too!" Rufioh said quietly to Cronus, keeping his eyes on the two brothers.

When Kankri still didn't say anything the gun was then pointed at Karkat. The soldier said something and Kankri broke down. He started saying names and other things. The guns were lowered.

All of the soldiers looked at each other. The head soldier nodded at everyone and they moved to grab everyone.

"Cronus, dammit!! I knew they weren't going to be reasonable!" Rufioh yelled, trying to shoot. The gun was still on safety from the train. He clicked and locked. "Damn it!" Rufioh messed with the gun for a moment, trying to get it off safety.

Another soldier shot Rufioh's hand, knocking the gun out. He then ran at the American soldier, tackling him to the ground. He held the gun to Rufioh's forehead as he pinned his arms. Rufioh hid all of his fear, trying to not scare the others anymore than they were.  "Get the fuck off!!" Rufioh yelled, kicking the soldier in the gut.

The other soldiers grabbed everyone else, holding them hostage with guns. Eridan was crying as he was held by the waist. He reached out for Cronus, crying for him. Karkat was being held like a child, leaning against the soldier's shoulder. Kankri was keeping a close eye on Karkat. They hadn't done anything with him and he couldn't figure out why.

Rufioh got his gun back, but the rest of the soldiers pointed their guns at him. "Drop the gun and follow us."

"Gestapo...." Rufioh muttered as he tossed his gun to the side. He had been warned about the German secret police, but he never thought he'd run into them. Other soldiers told him horror stories of people go in there and getting tortured for answers. Rufioh thought this would be where he lost his life, never being able to see anyone he loved again. He would die in Germany at the hands of some stupid secret police, trying to protect the innocent. "...damn...guess this is where it ends..." He sadly smiled as he was dragged away with the rest of them.

When they reached the secret base of the gestapo Rufioh was taken into a completely different area. He knew exactly what was going to happen, no one else did.

The gestapo soldiers threw Rufioh into a small cell. They slammed to door, yelling something at him in German.  "Dammit!! Im so stupid!!" Rufioh started yelling and pacing the room. He was panicking, he couldn't think of anything to do.
