Over the next year, Damara spied on Rufioh and Horuss. She would watch them be together every time she saw them. She became a stalker toward them, keeping a close eye on Rufioh. He and Horuss never knew that Damara had any suspicion on them, especially considering Rufioh still hung out with her. It wasn't until Damara showed up at the Nitram's house that anyone knew about her spying.

Spinelli opened the door to see Damara standing there, smiling. "Oh, hello Damara...? Rufioh isn't here, but he should be back soon. You can come in if you want." She invited Damara inside.

"Actually." Damara said, in perfect English. She barely spoke it, but she could. "Rufioh is dating Horuss."

"What?" Spinelli chuckled, she had assumed this before. She never told him or Simon about it.

"Yes, he is. He never went to my house. He always go to Horuss' instead." Damara explained more, as Simon walked in.

"What's going on?" Simon asked, crossing his arms.

"Rufioh is dating Horuss." Damara repeated. "He has been for a while."

"What?! How do you know this?!" Simon was pissed about this, but Spinelli wasn't.

"I have been watching him. He comes to me sometimes, but to Horuss mostly." Damara said calmly and perfectly.

Just then, Rufioh walked into the house. "He-...why is everyone in the living room with Damara?"

"Tú has estado saliendo Horuss ?! ¡¿por cuanto tiempo?! (You've been dating Horuss?! For how long?!)" Simon yelled, clearly pissed.

"I-i don't know what you mean!!" Rufioh put his hands up in defense. "W-what are you even talking a-about?" He awkwardly chuckled.

"Esto no es una broma, Rufioh! Damara nos dijo todo, ahora nos dicen! (This isn't a joke, Rufioh! Damara told us everything, now spill!)" Simon kept yelling in Spanish, so that only Rufioh knew what he was saying.

"I don't know what you're T-talking about!! I-I swear! P-please! What are you t-talking about!" Rufioh lied, but he was terrible at it.

"El tartamudeo que está! ¡Te conozco! lo que sucedió la mierda ?! (You're stuttering! I know you! What the fuck happened?!)" Simon yelled, grabbing Rufioh's arm.

"Okay!! Okay!!" Rufioh pulled his arm away. "But so what?! What does it matter?! Why does it concern you?! You don't even care! If I told you before, you would've had the same reaction! That's why I didn't tell anyone!" He paused. "I only told Tavros..."

"por supuesto...(of course)" Simon said, storming off. He slammed the kitchen door, not coming back out.

"Damara, I think you should leave." Spinelli said calmly.

Damara rolled her eyes and left the house, glaring at Rufioh as she did.

"Rufioh?" Spinelli spoke calmly, not raising her voice at all.

"Go ahead, say you hate me. I already know everyone does..." Rufioh began to walk away, but Spinelli caught his arm. "I don't need to hear you say it!"

"I don't hate you." Spinelli said, letting Rufioh go. He turned around and stared at her. "Why would I hate you?"

"Dad does! And he has hated me for a while..." Rufioh sighed, crossing his arms.

"He has never hated you... Despite all the things he says, he's never hated you. He only treats you rough to teach you to be strong. And, Rufioh, you're the strongest person I know!" Spinelli sighed, looking up at her son. "Ever since I've know you, I knew you were a bit different. You always liked both boys and girls. I've never found that wrong, but some people do. You're fine the way you are. I think you should go find Damara and be honest with her. If you love Horuss, then that's okay. Just go tell her that."

Rufioh sighed. "Okay...I guess she does deserve to know something..." He nodded and left the house to find Damara. She hadn't gotten far and Rufioh was about to catch up with her. "Wait! Damara! Doll!" He called out.

"Don't call me that." She said in perfect English again.

"Okay...sorry..." Rufioh rubbed the back of his neck. "Listen, I know I should've at least told you..."

"Yes, you should have." Damara said, as the two walked down the sidewalk.

"Well, I want to be honest with you now." Rufioh explained. "I don't, and haven't for a while now, want to date you anymore. And I know I should've told you!! I know I messed up! I know that! And I'm sorry I didn't tell you!"

Damara stopped, grabbed Rufioh's arm, and pulled him into a less crowded area. No one was beside the building they were beside. "You don't realize what you have done to yourself. You should have thought about what you were going to say before all of this! You should have told me before. Now, you are going to regret ever telling me this or ever dating Horuss!"

"Okay! But you will leave Horuss out of this! I don't care what you tell anyone, but Horuss stays out of the picture!" Rufioh glared back at Damara, knowing he had to keep just one person safe.

"Fine." Damara said, turning away and leaving the alleyway. She left Rufioh all alone.

Rufioh sighed and covered his face. "Oh god...what have I done...?" He collected himself and went back to his house. When he got there his things were beside the door. "...shit..." He muttered.

Spinelli came out and hugged Rufioh. "I'm sorry..." She said quietly, letting him go.

Simon came out and crossed his arms. "If you couldn't tell, you're leaving this house. You can come back whenever you like, but you can't live here anymore."

"Fine, whatever..." Rufioh picked up his things. He knew where he would go, but he was kind of pissed at his dad.

"Good. Glad we can agree on something." Simon said, nodding and leaving the room again.

"Do you need any help?" Spinelli asked.

"No, but thanks..." Rufioh sighed and left the house. He wandered over to Horuss' apartment. He knocked on the door and waited.

Horuss opened the door and looked at Rufioh. "What happened?"

"I got kicked out..." Rufioh shrugged.

Horuss helped take some things from Rufioh and let him inside. "You can stay here for as long as you want... You know you can..."

"Thanks..." Rufioh said sadly, putting down his things in the small apartment. He rested his head on Horuss' chest.

Horuss hugged him and kissed his forehead. "Don't worry, it'll be okay." He gave Rufioh a soft smile, trying to make him feel better. Rufioh just nodded.
