A few minutes later a gestapo soldier walked in with two others. The two others grabbed Rufioh, as he tried to fight back. They tied his arms to a bar that was all the way across the ceiling. His feet didn't reach the ground, he dangled and struggled. The soldier stared at Rufioh for a moment. "Where did you come from?" Was the only question he asked after a long amount of silence. Rufioh stayed silent, just watching the man. "Just like the rest, hm?" The soldier smirked.
"What do you mean by that?" Rufioh asked, struggling in the bonds.
"You think that you cannot be broken. You think that you are tough enough to not say a word." The soldier said, pacing around Rufioh. "I would not count on that."
Rufioh glared at the soldier as he motioned for the other two to come closer. He spoke in German and the other two nodded. Rufioh wiggled in the ropes, trying to get lose. One of the two soldiers nailed Rufioh as hard as he could in his gut. Rufioh cringed, but kept trying to free himself. The two soldiers didn't give him a lot of strength as they used him as a punching bag. Rufioh could feel his ribs begin to crack.
After two hours of endless interrogation that got no where and Rufioh being beaten to a pulp, they finally untied him and let him fall to the ground. Rufioh grabbed his stomach, coughing and eventually blood came up. The soldiers left him there, letting him wallow in his own pain. Rufioh eventually passed out.
The next day the soldiers came back in and grabbed Rufioh. They brought more equipment with them, it consisted of large scissors. "I see you brought more fun things..." Rufioh, as always, tried to make the situation better than it really was.
"Of course, as long as you like losing a limb." The soldier from before, chuckled.
Rufioh had nothing to say to that, he just stared at the soldier. "I don't care what you do, I'm not breaking."
"Oh, you will. Just give it time." The soldier motioned for the other two to tie Rufioh up. They nodded and slammed Rufioh down into a chair and strapped him in. "Now, where is your base? I heard there was one here in Germany, is that where you come from?"
Rufioh just glared at the soldier. He fell silent, too afraid to speak. He wouldn't show, but the only reason he didn't say anything was because he was terrified.
"I see. That is fine." The soldier looked down at Rufioh, the back up at the other two. He said something and they grabbed the shears. One of the other soldiers placed them around Rufioh's ring finger. "Where did you say you came from?"
Rufioh was ignoring the soldier by now. He was fixed on staring at his finger, he was going to lose it. He couldn't speak even if he wanted to.
"I did not hear you. And staring at it only makes it so much worse." The soldier said, putting a hand on Rufioh's shoulder. "Good luck." He said, not meaning it of course.
Rufioh's face turned frightened. He was finally showing fear, which is what they wanted. The squirmed in the chair, unable to move anything. "No! No!!" The shears went down, snapping the bone. Pain shot all through Rufioh's body. He screamed in agony as his entire finger came off and fell to the floor. He was still in a panic as the other soldier opened his shirt and jacket. The soldier with the shears pushed it into his chest and made a deep scar down to Rufioh's stomach.
The English speaking soldier let Rufioh out of the restraints, leaving the room with everyone else. Rufioh then fell to his hands and knees and vomited on the floor before passing out, leaning against the chair.
Rufioh woke up to the sound of the lock turning. He thought it was the soldiers again, coming to antagonize him in the night. He sat up as quickly as he could, his vision was blurred if he moved too fast. He watched the door slowly open, and to his surprise Eridan came in. "Eridan??" Rufioh said with shock.
"Shh!" Eridan motioned for Rufioh to come over. He cringed at the sight of Rufioh. "Wait..." Eridan luckily had stolen medical supplies. He gave them to Rufioh, because he had no idea what to do.
Rufioh slightly cleaned himself up, putting bandages around his chest and hand. He put his shirt back on correctly and headed out with eridan. They made sure no one was watching, Eridan was the look out mainly because he was so small. He pointed out where the others were being held. Rufioh took the key and unlocked the door, opening it slowly and quietly. To the surprise of both Kankri and Cronus, Rufioh looked in at them. "...come on..." He beckoned the three of them to follow. "I have Eridan..." Eridan poked his head out from behind Rufioh.
"He got the key...we can leave..." Rufioh said quietly, wanting everyone to follow.
