Practices and Costumes!

~A few days later~

*Hatsune's POV*

"That was great IA!" I complimented her on her singing and guitar playing after we finished another band session. She smiled "Thanks you too!" I smiled and we both bursted out into giggles. Even though we haven't seen each in years it's like we were never apart. She was a pretty much a sister to me. Oliver and IO faced us and smiled "That was great! But are you guys sure to be doing this sentimental song over a rock one?" IA nodded "I wanted to do a rock song but then I heard this song and we just had to do it!" I nodded and agreed "Same I wanted to do rock too but this sentimental song is just too good to pass up."

IO smiled "I agree with the girls here" Oliver smiled "Okay cool at least we're all on board. Let's run another practice session!" We all nodded and IA said "So I had an idea because were no longer doing a rock song I've designed outfits for the new song were gonna do. I actually have the designs in my backpack!" I smiled "Show us!" She nodded enthusiastically and ran off the small stage and started shuffling her backpack. After a few seconds she pulled out a four sheets of paper.

I put my guitar down and jumped down from the stage and looked over the designs. One sheet had a beautiful black dress that had a slightly ruffled spaghetti strapped sleeve while the other was a simple strap, it went down to the knees and from one side went down to the floor, black flats, and two black bows that go into the hair. I smiled at the design and started going over the next design. The next for a male which consisted of white skinny jeans with black straps (A/N: kinda AOT style ya know those straps they have on the pants? Yeah those), a black shirt with a circular pattern with slight pink and black boots that go up to the knee.

The next sheet was a design of also a male which consisted of deep blue slacks, a white long button up sleeved, a deep blue vest with gold outlining, and nice black shoes. And the final design was a black top corset style with slightly puffed sleeves with a pink ruffled skirt black gloves with pink lace and outlining, and black knee high socks with the same design as the gloves, and finally pink mary jane shoes. Oliver looked over my shoulder and whistled "Those are great IA!" I faced her to agree and noticed her face turn a light pink.

Then IO looked at the designs and smirked "I call the outfit with the straps and boots." Oliver smiled "Guess I get the blue one." IA faced me "Hatsune what about you? Do you want the pink and black one? Or the black one?" I thought about it "The black one, besides you would look really good with the pink and black one it matches your platinum blonde hair." She smiled "Okay thanks!" Then I heard two familiar voices from the stairs "We heard your guy's practice it's going great!" We all faced Oliver's brother and sister. Piko and Neru. We all smiled in and said in unison "Thanks!" I took the compliment to heart because they rarely praise anything other than Oliver and even then it's rare.

~Meanwhile at the Kagamine household~

*Rin's POV*

"Come on Len get this right!" I yelled at my twin "Do you even want to win this talent show!? Do you even want to win Hatsune's heart!? Or should we just let Oliver have her!?" I let my anger bubble over "GET IT TOGETHER! THE GUITAR NOTES AREN'T THAT HARD!!!" Len looked at me angrily "It's not my fault! I'm not used to guitar! I always play drums!" I grumbled to myself and Gumi sighed "Alright everyone.. let's take a break for now.." I sighed but nodded "Sure alright then. Anyways have we figured out wardrobe yet?"

Gumi nodded and held out sheets of paper "I have designs here. Lookie and let me know what ya think." I looked over male one that would be for Len which had black capri shorts, red and black stripped socks, black shoes, red and a grey with bits of gold for a shirt, and a mask with red that covered his mouth. Next was Mikuo's costume which consisted of a black skinny jeans, and a black trench coat with a small silver side and black boots, no shirt was to be worn for him and I felt my cheeks burn at the sudden thought of Mikuo shirtless. However I moved on to the next costume.

Kaito's costume consisted of white skinny jeans with black leather straps, a white long sleeved jacket with red and black designs and black boots and a red scarf. To complete the costume just like Len, Kaito would wear mask that covered his mouth. And the final male costume was Gumo's his was probably the most normal and not flashy. It was black skinny jeans with a black long sleeved and a yellow green vest to look nicely with his hair. I smiled and said "The guy's costumes look good let me look the ours."

Gumi smiled and pulled out two more sheets and I looked them over. Gumi's costume would be a black and gold skirt with a black and gold crop top and knee high black boots. The crop top was kind of like a coat as it stretched on to reach to her knees in length. Then finally I looked at my costume idea mine would be a white and black dress with gold outlining, past my knees black socks with gold outlining as well, and white boots to reach to the knee with gold laces. And the finishing touch was the black and white bows for my hair.

I smiled at the designs "This looks really great!" Kaito nodded "Yeah it really does, Great job Gumi!" Gumi smiled proudly "Thanks!" Gumo and Mikuo nodded in approval and I noticed my twin stay quiet. I lightly poked his arm and whispered under my breath "Sorry for being such a bitch.. I'm just.. I really want us to win and.. I want you to be happy with Hatsune..Even if it means you being kinda of a dumbass." I laughed a bit and Len cracked a smile "F-fine you win today but don't expect me to be so forgiving the next time." I laughed again "Wouldn't dream of it."

Suddenly a familiar voice said "Well great job you guys are doing great!" I faced the person speaking and laughed "Thanks mom. But.. you can thank Gumi for the idea of joining the talent show."Y mom smiled warmly and looked at Gumi "Well thank you because you all sound great!" Then she smiled "You better win kay? I'll be there and recording you all!" My mom let out another laugh and left us alone.

I smiled to myself and then Len yelled "Well.. ya heard my mom. We better win!" We all cheered and I placed my fingers at the strings of the guitar "Let's finish off this practice then we can go home! After all.. The talent show is in a week!" We let out another cheer and I smiled. Sorry Hatsune we might be friends but we won't lose to your team.

I swear I must be the worst author-chan out there ever *sighs*
I've been really distracted and this time I have an excuse I swear! *holds out my hands in defense* I've been distracted with college. I've completed my second week today and it's kinda stressful..
Anyways.. I apologize for this REALLY REALLY SHORT chapter but next chapter will be longer! I hope..
