The Talk

Louis POV

I threw on a pair of blue shorts, a white t-shirt, and red Toms. I felt comfortable and I was just going to Dunkin Donuts anyways. I was happy that I was going go talk to Bri, but I was upset I could only see her for an hour.

I brushed my teeth then ruffled my hair around a little bit making it look neat so I could get rid of my bed head. I walked into my bedroom grabbing my brown leather wallet off my non-made bed sliding it into my back pocket along with my phone. Then I jogged down the stairs.

"Where are you going we have recording today at 2." Niall said

"I'm going to get some coffee, calm down I'm only going to be gone for about an hour. Bye!" I said without letting Niall or any of the other lads answer I walked out the front door hopping into my black Lamborghini.

"Hi I'd like a ice coffee, light, with 4 sugars please." I said to Bri who didn't look up at me once as she punched my order into the register I couldn't help but chuckle considering he didn't know it was me. Finally she looked up with a surprised look in her face.

"Oh, hey Louis! You do realize that I still have twenty minutes until my break." She said smiling at me

"Yes but I figured it would be nice being earlier than late, I can leave now if you would like." I said jokingly

"No maybe I can start my break a little earlier, now move so I can take the next costumers order." She said shooing me to the side

"Excuse me, what about my drink? Geese, talk about bad service!" I joked

"I'll bring it to you when I come out for break now shoo." She said an then started greeting the next customer as I winked at her before walking away.

I found a small round table with two seats in the corner an I figured it would be harder for fans to see me in the corner, but I was wrong.

"Hi Louis! Can I get a picture with you?" A girl who looks around 13 said approaching me I just nodded and smiled at her phone as she held it out takin a picture of us

"Thank you!" She shrieked running outside

"Why are you here Louis?" Some girls came over to my table smiling like idiots

"I'm here visiting my friend on her break." I put in a fake smile as they kept asking questions

'I don't see anyone else!' 'Will you marry me?' 'Picture please' 'Sign this'

Finally I satisfied them and they left and then I looked over my shoulder seeing Bri walking towards me.

"Hello love." I greeted her as she handed me my coffee and took a seat.

I reached into my pocket going to grab some money to pay for my coffee and hers too.

"Put it away" she said seeing what I was going to do.

"No, I want to pay." I whined like a baby and she rolled her eyes at me

"Ugh" I sighed knowing I would never win

"So, lets talk!" Bri said as she placed her cup down on the table in front of her.

"Umm...uh....I" I don't know what to say but all I know is I sound like an idiot right now

"A-are you alright?" She looked into my m eyes and I can tell she doesn't know what to say either. I nodded then looked down at my coffee cup playing with the lid.

Things just got really awkward. We sat there in silence with what felt like forever but really was only 3 minutes.

"Ok, well I have to go back to work in thirty minutes so lets talk." She said quietly breaking the silence and I looked back up at her to find her already looking at me and our eyes locked. Her eyes are so beautiful it's hard to even want to look away, never mind that it's impossible. There marble green almost brown, so deep and beautiful.

"Ok" I said clearing my throat "So you wanted to talk about the- the k-k-kiss, right?" I stuttered

Why am I so dumb?

"Ya" she nodded breaking our gaze as she took a sip of her coffee

"So...um...well I didn't mean to kiss you, I just don't know that came over me, sorry." She said trying not to look me in the eyes

Sorry. Sorry! Why in the world is she sorry?

I felt sparks when we kissed. I don't know if she did but I did and I feel sparks when I'm around her. I like her, I like her a lot and I hope she likes me too. And not only do I like her and want the best for her and her little sister I want to be able to call her mine and protect her.

"Lou, Louis, hello Louis!" Bri knocked me out of my daydream as she waved her hand in front of my face.

"Oh, sorry." I shook my head knocking myself into reality

"It's fine, what are you thinking about?" She smiled mysteriously at me

"You." I said quietly a smirk playing on my lips

"What about me?" She said suspiciously

"Everything and how I feel about you." I blushed at the last part and looked down at my coffee.

"Oh, and how is it that you might feel about me?" She said raising her eyebrows with the cutest smirk on her face I couldn't help but bust out laughing.

"What? Am I funny to you?" She asks curiously

"No your just to cute." I couldn't hold it in she is

"Oh thanks, so that's what you think about me? Anything else I should know?" She smiled sarcastically

"No, but there's something I need to know." I said looking into her eyes trying to sound as serious as possible

"What might that be?" She raised an eyebrow at me

"Um, how do you feel about me?" I asked hesitating a little at knowing how dumb I sound

She looked confused for a second but then sighed before answering.

"Louis, I like you a lot. I really do but I don't want to get into a relationship, your busy being a world famous teen heartthrob and there's so many girls that would kill to be you , how long do you think you'll be able to stick with one girl. I mean I'd rather just stay your friend." She looked at me with a as smile and I just frowned

"But Bri, I can stick with a girl for a long time. Especially you, your different. Your not a crazed fan girl and your not a stocker and you definitely don't treat the lads and me like we're some kind of saints ad that's just some of the things I love about you." She blushed at the last part but it was al true I love everything about Bri.

"I have to go back to work now but u wish I could stay longer. Tell the lads I said hi and don't be a stranger text me or call." She said and stood up as did I.

We hugged for a long time before flashing lights from the paps tore us apart to go our separate ways.

"Tell Kate I said hi and that we need to hang out soon!" Waved to Bri as she nodded and made her way back to the register

I just want to scream!
