twenty-five.

bae joohyun

That prick was sitting right across from me, the seat previously for Kyungsoo who was now enjoying some burgers alongside my other ditcher friends.

"So, what are we having for dessert tonight?" Taehyung gave an extremely pressed smile at my parents, who smiled dearly at him.

"Taehyung, you've grown so quickly, you're like a grown man now," my mother squeezed his cheeks affectionately, and he allowed it knowing it will piss me off even more.

"What do you do with your life now?" I dared to ask. "Do you go to clubs and single out vulnerable people and try to drug them?"

Everyone turned to me in shock at that accusation, but I grinned. "Just asking."

"Oh, I heard what happened in that club to you," he actually took my hand across the freaking table! "I hope that guy is put into prison with that stupidity."

Your stupidity!

"I know," my father sighed. "It's very sweet of you to think of that, son. You must obviously think well of my daughter although hardly knowing her! You've been raised well."

"The only thing that raises is his thing when seeing possibly drugged girls in clubs." Baekhyun muttered just loud enough for only me to hear. We both spluttered in laughter simultaneously.

"Anything you want to say?" Taehyung at this moment was sending serious daggers towards Baekhyun. The latter just shook his head while trying not to fall apart.

"No, I just remembered a funny joke."

"Care to tell us?"

"No, only Joohyun gets it."

Taehyung made a dark looking face, meaning something really weird and creepy. "I know what you mean, and false. I've already got it, if you get what I mean."

"Okay, that's it."

"Stop," I pushed Baekhyun lightly back onto his chair before he does anything stupid. "Taehyung, it's not the time nor place to wind him up. Thank you."

He just turned to his father. "Can we have dessert please?"

-

The dessert was okay, but it could not even closely sweeten me up to push all this Taehyung debacle away. He's an ultimate asshole and does not deserve forgiveness. He hasn't even apologised!

"This is so good," he said while eating his dessert painfully slowly. His eyes were still on me.

"I hope you fucking choke and die," I mouthed, making him startled. He was a little less annoying after that.

"Why can't we just tell your parents what happened?" I felt Baekhyun whisper in my ear, but I shook my head.

"Apparently, this guy is really important to both companies," I remembered looking up under the table while we were waiting for our desserts. "If I make this claim, they might not believe me and it can ruin everything."

Baekhyun nodded sadly. "We just have to pin it on him."

"Yeah, I guess." It would be hard. Taehyung seems extremely cunning.
