The Teen Spy

Chapter 2

I picked up my old flip phone and just looked at it. I'm 14 and I still have a flip phone for crying out loud. All of my friends have the iPhone5.

I can't believe my dad he never does anything with me. I knew exactly how to get revenge. I walked to my room and called up my best friend Bella. I'm not how you say popular at school. Bella is pretty much my only friend beside my neighbor Austin. But we are friends through our moms.

Bella answered with her usual cheery voice.

"Hey Nikki what up?"

"Nothin much you know the usual."

"Cool ya my life's not that interesting either."

"Anyways wanna go to the mall my dad gave me his card and said but anything you want."

"Really!?"

"Ya I know right. He said all I had to do was buy something for my brother and my mom."

"Cool um come on over and we will head out to the mall."

"Ok I'll see you in 10."

"Ok see you here."

Then I hung up my phone and went to my closet. I grabbed my dark blue skinny jeans and my long sleeve baggy pink and white stripped long sleeve cropped shirt. I got my black dr.martins and changed my clothes.

I was all sweaty from gym class even though its like 67 degrees outside. I got dressed and brushed my hair. Then grabbed my black jacket, my phone and my dads card then headed out.

My mom was home. She must have fallen asleep because she was out on the couch with Alec playing with his toys by the couch. I left a note saying

'Out at the mall with Bella will be home before 8:00.'

I put it on the fridge then walked out the front door. It warmed up a little but it was still cold out. I put my hands and my pockets and started down the side walk.

"Hey neighbor!" I heard someone say. I turned around to see Austin smiling walking up behind me.

"Hey Austin."

"Where ya goin?"

"To Bella's then to the mall."

"Cool."

"Yup you wanna come? I don't think Bella would mind."

"Sure why not I'll just text my mom. She's working late and Megan's at a friends."

"Ok."

Megan was Austin's little sister. She was 12 and went to the same school as us.

Austin had pale skin, sandy blonde hair, dark brown eyes and braces. He is thin but very muscular. He is about 2 inches taller than I am.

His sister is the same way but 4 inches shorter than me and she doesn't have braces yet.

Bella is as tall as Austin. She is a little tan, long brown hair with blonde tips, perfect white teeth, teal colored eyes, and she is very skinny.

Bella could be a model and sometime I feel I little fat around her. I have known her for 8 years and we have always been best friends. When I was little I used to talk a lot but along the way I guess something happened and I just became really quiet except around people I knew.

I became friends with Austin when he moved in. His mom got a job at the same place my mother did. We would invite them over for dinner and he was always really nice to me. We became friends kind of fast and have been for 5 years now.

When we got to Bella's house she was in her kitchen talking to her mom. Bella knew Austin but they weren't really friends. We walked in and said hello to her parents.

"Bye mom we are going to the mall." Bella said to her mother.

"Ok be home before 8:00!" Her mother yelled from the kitchen.

"I will!" She yelled back.

It was 6:00 now so we walked out of her house and headed down the road to the mall.
