Chapter 14

"WAKE UP! WAKE UP! NOW!!" I heard Marc yell.

I sat up and he was standing in the doorway with a bull horn and Austin behind him covering his ears. Mason sat up and rubbed his neck.

"Breakfast in 20 be at the table or else." Marc said then walking out the door.

Austin waited for him to leave then turned to us.

"Tonight at 11:00pm don't forget and practice." He said smiling.

Then he walked out of the room closing the door. I stood up and changed my clothes into a white v neck and purple short high waisted shorts. I put my dr.Martins on and walked into the room everyone was changed and we waited for Austin to come and unlock the door.

Austin walked in.

"Ok Nikki is in charge of breaking you all out so lets see it." He said throwing me a bobby pin.

I unlocked the lock in 10 seconds. Mason was shocked.

"Where did you learn that?" He asked as I started on Kyle and my fathers lock.

"I taught myself a lot when I was home alone." I said.

I opened both locks and walked out following Austin.

"You still as awesome as I remember." Austin said smiling.

"Thanks." I said blushing.

We sat around the table and Marc walked in with waffles and hash browns with orange juice. He sat down and began to eat. Austin brought in a grey oatmeal ish thing in 9 bowls and set them down in front of everyone, including himself.

We all scarfed down the food. We had to eat it or Marc would have shot us all. When we were done Marc stood up.

"Go to your cells and I don't want to see or hear you until tomorrow at 6:00am sharp. And you all better be up and ready because I have a surprise for you." He said smiling at me.

We stood up and walked back to our cells. Mason lifted me up so I could see out the window.

Marc grabbed his car keys and walked out the door. It was dark out and I saw the moon rising. So it must have been about 6 or 7. Mason set me down and we grabbed out weapons and practiced for a while.

After about an hour Austin walked in.

"It's time lets go Marc will be back in about an hour." Austin said.

We nodded and changed. We all put on black tight tank tops, dark camo pants and black combat boots. All the girls put our hair up in a high pony. We all put our gloves on and grabbed our packs.

I loaded mine with some extra clothes, a sleeping bag, flashlight, batteries, phone and money. Everyone did the same.

I unlocked the doors and we walked out. We looked around the house for anything we could use. We found $5million dollars and took it all. We would have to ditch our phones and change our names when we get away and this would help.

We walked to the door and all looked at each other Austin finally joined us and looked like us. I picked the lock and opened the door. We all hurried and they ran to the bushes while I locked the door.

I ran to the bushes and finally got a good look at where we were. It was my old house I lived in when I was 4. We lived in Las Vegas, Nevada but moved to Ohio to become a better family.

I knew exactly where we were but no one else did.

"Guys I know where the city is but it's gonna be a long walk." I said.

They all groaned and we headed off behind the bushes but still by the road. We were running so we could get as far away as possible.

We heard a car driving down the road and we all knew it was Marc. We hid but he slowed down to a stop in front of where we were.

He stayed in his truck but looked out his window.

After about a minute he started his car again and headed off to the house. We heard the front door slam shut and we all stood up and ran towards town.

After about 1 minute of running we heard Marc scream and run out the door and to his car.

We ran further into the woods and hid behind some bushes. We heard Marc scream.

"WHERE ARE YOU!?" He was still in his driveway. We all climbed up trees. Both the moms went to one tree. My father and Kyle in another and me, Austin and Mason in the middle tree.

We were all silent as Marc slowly drove by flashing his flashlight into the woods. The light went under us then disappeared. He drove away then we heard him turn around and he stopped right in front of where we were.
