The plane finally landed and we got off and got our bags. We rode a taxi all the way to our new houses. It was a gated neighborhood and we were in the far corner of the neighborhood.
We got into our houses and unpacked. It took about 4 hours but our house looked just like home. I was living with my mother and father, Mason is living with his mother and Austin and Kyle are living alone.
All the parents went out for a drink and we stayed home at my house. We were all playing Call of Duty.
"Hey Nikki can I talk to you for a second?" Mason asked.
"Um ya." I said as I followed him to the kitchen.
We walked into the kitchen and he leaned against the counter and rubbed the back of his neck. I stood across from him.
"So what did you to talk to me about?" I asked.
"Um I have to ask you something but I don't really know how." He said.
"Well just say it." I answered.
"Ok well here goes.
I have like you ever since I first met you. But when we met you were dating Austin. But now your not and I was going to ask you out earlier but then the whole kidnapping thing happened. I didn't think it was a good time. So I guess what I'm trying to say is, Nikki I love you and would you maybe wanna go out this Friday?" He rambled then was silent.
I was stunned I didn't think he liked me too. He looked really nervous and I didn't know what to say.
"Yes I would love you go out with you Friday." I answered.
He instantly let out a sigh of relief and wrapped his arms around me for a hug. He intertwined our fingers then we walked out to the living room.
We continued the game. Mason left to go help his mom because she came back early. Me and Austin continued the game. Then he paused it and looked at me. I looked at him.
"Listen Nikki remember how I was helping Marc but I didn't want to'" He began.
"Yeah so?" I asked.
"Well there is something I didn't tell you about Marc." He said cautiously.
"Which is?" I asked.
He took a deep breath then half shouted.
"Marc is my father and he has been tracking us this whole time!"
