Yes, I know this is short, but this is all I can do for now. Hope you enjoy, and thanks for reading!
Finally, we get back, just as I'm about to fall asleep. Since I'm so tired, it takes me a couple moments to even unbuckle my seatbelt. I can tell Jaime notices, because of the amused glint in his eyes, but he doesn't say a word. He just quietly opens the door and grabs my hand, pulling me out of the back seat. I smash into his chest, giggling slightly.
"You're a failure," I mumble tiredly, but snuggle closer to his warmth. He wraps part of his light jacket around me, unable to zip it up because we're too big.
"Which is why I'm getting to hold the most beautiful girl in the world in my arms right now."
My heart flutters, so violent I hope it doesn't leap right out of my chest, and I smile into his shirt. "I love you," I try to say, but it ends up sounding like, "I lob oo." He laughs at my inability to speak clearly, with my face pressed so close to him, and says "I love you too."
We climb on to the bus, creeping around so we don't wake Matt. Jaime sets me into bed, then sits down next to me.
Vic walks up, sitting on Jaime's bunk, which is across from mine, and yawns, looking at Jaime. "Mike's showering first. Then, you can go if you want."
Jaime nods slowly. He's gotten over the fact that since I'm a girl doesn't mean I get to shower first. I don't care at all. We all take turns being first. "Okay. Then, can Rose go?"
"Sure," he shrugs, getting into his bunk and laying down. He starts to listen to music just as Mike walks in to grab his Griffindor pajamas and his toiletries. Total Harry Potter nerd. Once he has everything, he slips out, making a beeline for the bathroom. I guess since he loves to party so much, he's used to staying out late and being tired and everything. Everyone else isn't quite as used to that as he is.
Jaime soon falls asleep, laying down next to me. I'm not as tired now, so I decide to take a short walk while I wait for my turn to use the bathroom and get showered and ready for bed. I write a little note and stick it on Jaime's shirt. It just says that I'm out on a walk, not to worry, and I'll be back soon. Just to be safe, I take my phone, then head on out.
The air is so fresh out here at night. I have a great idea to go to the beach, so I set off in the direction we went to go to breakfast, since it was practically on the beach. I doubt many people are there, and it'll be relaxing. I love the ocean so much.
On my way there, I see a black figure ahead of me. I soon realize I recognize the person, but I'm not sure how, or who they are, so I slowly catch up to them. I trip, catching myself easily, and the person spins around, startled. I can see the face at last, and it's Oli.
"Hey, best friend," I say cheerfully, trying to make up for the fact that I just scared him. He chuckles once he realizes who it is, and moves closer.
"Hey, ninja," he replies. Causing me to fist pump.
"Cool! I'm a ninja!"
He smiles and shakes his head maturely at me, kicking a stray pebble.
"Haven't really talked to you for a while since the... Uhm... You know..." He trails off awkwardly, not wanting to bring up my suicide attempt that landed me in the hospital. It seems so far away, even though it really isn't. I've changed so qquickly, and I'm pretty much back to my normal, happy self before my life started to suck.
I nod understandingly, grateful he didn't actually bring it up. "Yeah. I just saw Austin yesterday, and he was upset since I was thinking about jumping. I missed him," I add, and Oli follows along and nods.
"So how'd the Bryan Stars interview go?"
I smile at his subject change, but go along with it. "Good. He's nice," I say honestly. "I really do think he's doing a great thing. I know his interviews really make fans happy."
oli smiles a little at that. "Yeah, he's a good lad. He's one of the best interviewers, especially because he's so unique and fun," Oli tells me, and I almost laugh, thinking of one Black Veil Brides interview where Andy ate the interview sheet. He ate the paper, like, literally. Gross. But not as bad as some other... Inappropriate... Interviews. These guys can get pretty wild.
"Bryan seems like he shouldn't be this cool, but he is. He doesn't even look like a rock band interviewer who's friends with a bunch of badasses."
Oli laughs when I tell him what I think about Bryan, but it's true!! He looks too innocent and awkward.
"Have you noticed that he always wears that same blue jacket?" Oli asks me, and I nod instantly.
"How could anyone not notice?" I shoot back, and Oli smirks.
"Yeah, I suppose that's pretty obvious..."
I roll my eyes at his remark, then jump when I hear a shrill noise. It's my phone. I groan, pulling it out and answering it without looking at caller ID. Most likely Jaime.
"I'm fine," I start, grumbling into my phone. I hear a nervous but relieved chuckle on the other end, and my suspicions are confirmed. Definitely Jaime.
"We'll aren't you pleasant?" Jaime retorts back, and I roll my eyes, momentarily forgetting he can't see me at all. Idiot.
"Yes, in fact I am," I say, in a fake British accent. Oli just raises his eyebrows at me, mouthing, "you suck."
"Well, miss Pleasant, it's your turn to shower!" Jaime says, finally getting around to the point. Usually, he doesn't even wait for the person on the other end to say hello. He just starts talking.
"Okay, be right there!" I chirp back, strangely energetic for so late. Then, I say a quick 'bye' and hang our, slipping my phone back into my pocket.
"Gotta go back, but I wanna stay at the beach so bad. I'll miss it!" I whine, but Oli's face suddenly lights up.
"What if we could camp on the beach. You, me, we could invite Austin!" He says cheerfully, beaming, and I grin. Its a perfect idea.
"Sounds awesome! It could be us 3, the Three Amigos!!!"
Oli laughs at me, and I stick out my tongue, before getting down to business.
"Okay, so while I'm showering and getting ready, you get Austin and get packed and ready and have him do the same, then meet me in front of my bus in..." I stop to think about how long it'll take to get completely ready, "45 minutes, approximately."
Oli nods, starting to walk back. Good idea. I follow him,p, moving quickly.
When we get back, I quickly explain our plan to Jaime, and he reluctantly lets me go without him. I know he trusts both guys to take good care of me. After I'm done talking, I hop in the shower and get ready.
Exactly 43 minutes later, I exit the bus with a small bag, ready for our camping experience to begin. I have a sleeping bag, and Oli, the only one who even has a tent, is taking his tent. The guys are just walking up when I step out. I smile, giving a quick wave to Jaime and Tony, who's the only other one still awake, then we set off. Tonight's going to be awesome.
