Elena's POV
Dear diary,
I'm not fine. Not at all. If I could just forget what has happened the last month I would. As Jeremy gets more and more depressed about our situation I do too. I just can't help but feel responsible. I wish I could turn back time to when we were happy again. But I will put a smile on my face as I endure my last year of high school and fake it all the way through. So according to everyone I'm fine. I'm 100% completely fine.I put my journal behind the picture in my room and set off for school.
As I near school all eyes fall on me. I hear whispers about the girl whose parents left them to fend life off by themselves and rumors of the girl who drove her parents out of the house. I finally reach the main building as my friend Bonnie runs to me.
"Hey lets get to class alright?" She smiles.
"Ok," I respond back.
As I near my first class of the day I notice a guy sitting in my assigned seat.
"Hey that's my seat could you move?" I ask with no emotion.
"Oh of course," he looks up into my eyes as I look into his.
All of a sudden I felt like I was being overrun with butterflies in my stomach and he smiles.
"I'm Stefan," he says sweetly.
"Elena," I smile back.
The bell goes off and I sit down as a new face with a briefcase comes and sets his stuff down on the teacher's desk. He begins writing on the chalkboard.
"Alaric Saltzman," he begins. "But you guys can call me Mr. Saltzman," he smiles.
"Welcome to Occult Studies."What did you guys think?
This story will follow along the lines of The Vampire Diaries but will have different twists and turns unlike The Vampire Diaries.
