Elena's POV

Today was the night of the comet. On a regular day I would be excited to go see it with my mother, but she disappeared without a trace. Stefan somehow convinced me to go. As I got ready I heard a knock on the door.
"Come in!" I yell.
Soon enough Bonnie walks in with a frown.
"What's gotten you so down today," I smile.
"I have to show you something, but I don't know how you're going to respond," she frowned.
"Bonnie you're my best friend, no matter how weird I'm staying here for good," I smile.
"Okay, remember how I told you my grandma said I was a witch and u thought she was crazy?" She started.
"Yeah," I say uneasily.
"Well she showed me this," she walked off to one of my pillows and ripped it open.
She took some feathers out.
"Sit," she patted the bed in front of her.
I sat down and she closed her eyes. Suddenly a slow tornado of feathers circled around me.
I smiled," Bonnie this is amazing, you're a witch!"
I hugged her and she cried happy tears into my shoulder.
Later on I let her out so she could get ready for the night as I finished my make up.

Normally these would have sounded dangerous but they've been happening since...
I thought about long and hard shocked with what I have pieced together. They've been happening since Stefan arrived.
I must be crazy. It's just a coincidence.
I think.
