The Vampire and Doppelgänger

I woke up in my bed a hot mess. My mind flashed back to last night with Stefan.
"I know this is a lot."
"I can't handle this."
I shook my head if the thoughts and continued to get ready. I grabbed my bag and headed to school. The first person I saw was Bonnie and i ran toward her.
"You were right everything about Stefan he's too dark and mysterious for me and I can't handle any of this and," I broke down in tears.
"Wait what happened wha-," she cut herself off.
I looked up and saw Stefan.
"Hey could we ta-" I cut him off.
"No don't talk to me don't come near me," I began to walk off.
"Elena, please," he begged,"just one night to explain."
I thought about it and storm d towards him.
"One night and I swear if you hurt me Jer will find out and you'll be-," he cut me off.
"I would never hurt you Elena," he said calmly.
I walked off to class and couldn't get my mind off of what would happen tonight.

I heard a knock on my door and opened the door.
"One night," I said.
"I know," Stefan said.
We walked to his car and he began to talk.
"Damon and I are vampires," he said.
I jumped a little and continued to listen.
"Damon drinks straight from the vein but I can't do that without going full ripper so I use animal blood as an alternate. We were actually part of the original founding family and died trying to save Katherine," I cut him off.
"Katherine?" I questioned.
"A former flame," he looked on,"but she's dead."
"Damon and I used to be close but she tore us apart," he continued.
"She never could choose between us so she had both of us," he sighed.
He stopped at a lake and got out.
"This is where I became what I am," he took off his ring and held it up.
"This helps me walk in the sun without burning," he threw it on the ground.
"Stefan," he cut me off.
"What's the point Elena?" tears forming in his eyes," you found out who I am and you can't even look me in the eye I should just move on."
"Stefan Salvatore I know what I want and I want you, just because you are what you are doesn't mean I can't learn to deal with it, I love you," I stuttered those last words.
He looked up at me with a face of shock.
"I love you, and if you decide to stay here and burn then that's for you because I know that I want to be with you and love you and-" he picked up his ring and walked over and crashed his lips on to mine. I pulled back and looked straight into his eyes.
"I love you Stefan Salvatore," I said,"and I believe that you won't hurt me."
"I love you Elena Gilbert," he looked into my eyes.
This is gonna be a rollercoaster.
