As soon as I got out of cheer practice I drove home. The drive home was dark since Caroline insisted that we finish the routine tonight. All of a sudden I see a flash of light and then black.
I wake up in a hospital room. I was covered in wires and different tubes and immediately felt the pain. As I begin to gain my eyesight I see a man sitting in front of me.
"Jeremy?" I manage to say.
The man laughs with a bit of huskiness in his voice," it's actually Stefan but I can call your brother."
"Oh it's alright but, what happened?" I ask.
"You were in a car accident," he says.
Oh my god.
What.
"Oh," I manage to squeak.
"The doctor says you can be released soon but you have to stay in bed rest," he smiled.
His smile warmed me up inside.
What the hell Elena!
I snap out of my daydream.
"I can drive you home?" He asked with a hopeful face.
"Yeah why not," I smile.
As I load up into the car we finally set off for my house.
I sat and stared at the blank road ahead.
So much tension.
What I did next surprised me.
"Stop the car," I say as if my heart took over my body.
He stopped.
"What's wrong?" He asked with concern.
"I don't know," I say fast.
And then I kissed him.
