REWRITTEN VERSION :

Animal Jam, another website full of young kids' wonders and fantasies.

The world so called Jamaa is beautiful to its described words, forests green as the freshly cut emerald with beaches and seas clear as diamonds it self.

Everything was created so perfect.

"Love? Mind if you help me a bit?" A female voice rings through the air into my ears and with the sound of the front door closing.

The sun is already setting in a graceful pace of disappearing behind the horizon. The shadow cast by the trees danced on the wooden floor as it bends to the beat of the bending light. The sky turns into shades of red, orange and gold, and the now red clouds float into a perfect formation like dancers and the sky was its stage and backdrop.

I run down the squeaky stairs down to where my mother's voice once ringed, and soon my brown orbs meets my mother's.

"Help me put those veggies in the shelfs." She reached out and shoved the plastic bag onto my chest, I quick held it in place as she let go, or else I have to bend down and pick then up again. "How's your day?" I asked, I hated the invisible force field between us, it's keeping both of us in a distance. Yet it still somehow stays,

She shrugs, the same as she did everyday. "You done your homework?" She asked without looking at me, instead she look at the now flashing TV screen.

I secretly rolled my eyes at the back of my mother's head, "Yeah..." I replied, and the quietness continue.

The sun now set below the horizon completely, with just some dark blue weaved in the black cloth covering the sky, outside is now just a black void extending out beyond my reach, birds fallen asleep and no sound coming from the outside. Stars now woken up from their slumber, slowly blinking on the black cloth as the sing their quiet songs.

I sit back on my chair as I boost open my computer, it was quick as the screen flash on.

I press the bookmark on the top of the plain browser, a bookmark that been their for a while. Animal Jam, a game that carried my childhood till now, a mere teenager.

Suddenly. Colors flashes across the screen, blue, green, red filled the screen. Flashing into different colors, but it wasn't pleasant to ones eyes.

Black.

That's the color who replaced the color of the sky, the ground, every breathing creature.

I blink at the response, the monitor was dark like it's not powered up, frowning I press a few keys, nothing, the surrounding was fairly quiet except my even breathing.

Hey.

A whisper caress my ear shell, it was quiet but I heard it correctly. And so, a cold trail spiked on my spine like freshly icebergs just freeze from the cold winter air.

"Mom?" I spin around my chair, nothing, behind me is just an area of blank space, my breath slowly become uneven. It quickens in an unsteady paste as the terror grows within my chest and fear spread through my veins.

"Maybe I'm just over reacting." I mutter under my breath as I spin around. Shaking off the cold icebergs on my back and slowly steady out my breath.

Staring at the black monitor with confusion, I shook my head and look around.

"This is not working out." Once again, I whispers to myself. "Maybe mom knows what happened."

I stood up, the floor beneath me squeaks as my feet put full pressure on them, it wasn't as steady as it was before. "Mom-"
