The road beneath us from a small dirt road into a hard mossy stole tiles. Lost Temple of Zios.
I kicked a few rocks and pebbles out of my way and probably hit my toe somewhere on those unmovable tales.
"Here we are~" Swimming exclaimed as she hop down to the grand doors of the long lost temple of Zios.
The doors was covered in dirt, and large chunks of moss and vines tangled together. The small chunks of dirt falls of the door when I shuffle my hand across the hard and bumpy surface. My brown orbs focus on the small lines uncovered by the brown, traces of gold shine through, the pattern swim into the center where a small line cut through the middle.
"Any idea how to open it?" Wretched look at me and asked. I shook at the question, no idea how to open the so looked immovable door. "Maybe we could try to science lab?" Swimming pointed at a side door, a small wooden door, nothing pretty much. No colorful decoration like the entrance of the lost temple.
Before I am able to say anything, Swimming without any hesitation twist open door. The world revealed on the other side wasn't as hostile as I think, the smell of antibiotics tingles the air and the cozy feeling of brewing fire empty-out my thoughts. The place is empty with chairs in random positions and falling wallpapers. Don't forget the small table settled on one side of the room, on that small tables were tubes, wires, Bunsen burners, flasks and different colors substance.
"Remember that." Swimming once again started. "You know how to make that kind of rainbow substance?"
I nodded, the interesting memory of Jamaa floods into my head, three of each. Three times the colored solute, three times clicking on the different flasks on the table.
And now it will create a rainbow-colored pigment.
"You have any idea what to do here?" Swimming asked. I shook my head and go look at the shelf which is filled with different sizes and colors of books, those books is now covered in a think layer of dust and stringed with cobwebs. Sometimes small black dots appeared behind the books, spiders.
"Maybe we should check the other rooms?" Wretched using a quick step and arrived at a curtained door way with small lights peeling through those velvety sheets of cloth.
He push aside the cloth and the light sprang out of it's containers. It's not bright, but it's enough to see what's in the room.
A large screen on one side of the wall, still playing it's story, and on the ground, a soft red carpet with small patterns running through it. On top of that were tons and tons of cushions. Different sizes and different color, all spread out in this cozy room.
"Maybe the tapes will show us something." Wretched turn left and face a small shelf build and screwed to the wall. Small book-like rectangular containers were lined up neatly within the shelfs. Not even one speck of dust on the 'books' and it's kept relatively clean.
Wretched pulled out a few, look at the covered. Shook his head and put it back. The cycle goes on until we reached the last book on the shelf. The same reaction. He shook his head.
"Those books are green and have those weird golden bindings...maybe we missed some." I questioned as Wretched dug his head back into the books.
I turn and walk out of the room, I scan the Lab once more. Green with golden bindings on it, the bookshelf; it have all the books.
I looked closely at each, examining the texture and model. Until one golden shine caught my eye. It was sudden, yet clear. I followed that sudden shine that flashes at the corner of my eyes. Next to the bookshelf, a small crack was seen. It was very small to notice but another tiny shine shows the way.
I use my fingers to hook into the hole, take a few breathes, I pulled. The floor board, it budges and rips open.
Smog fills the room, stinging my eyes and gagging my throat as I step back in terror. It was just the dust, gathered long before I was here. And under the thick dust. A faded green, with golden binding.
"Wretched I think I've founded!" I shouts as I grab the book and run into the other room. Wretched seen surprised as his eye brows raise. I shove the heavy book at his chest which he caught before it hit him. With suspicion, he look down at the book.
And then his face is covered with surprise. "Spirit, were did you find this?" He asked as he opens the case. "It was hidden below the floor boards."
He rise his eye brow again as he pull out the disk which surprisingly still in a good shape.
"Let's see." He shoved the disk into a small opening which it immediately swallows up the disk.
The screen glitches a bit, turns off. And then the screen turn on.
"Welcome to Jamaa New Jammers." The screen showed a small map of Jamaa. "And this is the documentary about The Lost Temple of Zios."
"And I, will teach you how to open the never budging door of the temple."
The screen flashes and shows the door that we've just been. "The door won't let anyone through, unless your an animal."
I gasp, "How are we gonna do that?" I asked.
"To become an animal, you need the magical potion which you can craft in the lab next door."
I shut my mouth as the narrator continued.
"Inside, there are many books and records. And-"
The clip was cut off, it stopped. Slowly, pixels were covered by glitching dots.
"Welcome Spirit. I was wondering when you will come here."
The screen flashes and slows a male. It can't be.
IT.CAN'T.BE
"You see, I'll be waiting."
The screen flashes dark again.
My pupils was huge, a large sweat drops down my forehead.
It can't be.
My heart bumps, smashing inside my rips.
It. can't. be.
I could feel myself shaking. That sudden appearance shook me well.
That person who just glitched in.
It can't be
