Chapter Fourteen: Out run the Wisterias

Wretched were sitting down on a chair when I come back, "you're back." He smiled and pushing himself up and walk near the exit. "Also I heard the conversation." He smirks, I rolled my eyes at his respond l, how could he knows everything?

"When will the rest of the team come back?" I walk out of the room into the warm air of Coral Canyon. "They are already back, when you are talking to Swimming, they come back."

"Oh really?" I risen an eyebrow. "What did they do?"

"Finding food, it's not easy to survive without any food."

I remembered, we needed food to survive.

"Cool lead me to them then."

Wretched smile and pointed to the waterfall. "Go find them, I will keep an eye on Swimming."

I noded and make my way down to the waterfall.

"Empress why did you do that?!" Infinity's leader-like voice flings in the cave, I haven't reached the 'main room' yet but it's loud like a lion roaring. "IT WILL GET MY SHOES MUDDY!" That is not Infinity's voice, yet a younger, crispy voice with a few hint of anger and voice crack. "Look Empress." Infinity's voice. "This place is not for your girly girl, so man up!"
A loud cry, and it come closer until a small 8 year old turn around, tears dripping down.

Her eyes widens as she saw me, "who.." her voice is shaky. "Who are you?"

"Spirit, the New Jammer."

She is still sobbing, and it doesn't seems like she is gonna stop any time soon.

"Ah spirit." Infinity walk around the corner, "Yeah don't Mind her, follow me." Infinity gestured and walk back to the 'main room'.

I take a step left and walk pass the cry baby, and took the left turn-

Woah.

There are many people in the room, far more then I expected, mainly girls but a few boys as well, "This is Spirit, our new Jammer." Infinitely shouted out.

There was a slience, "you are now free to leave other than Leaping, got something to tell you."

Everyone starts to climb up the ladders which I believe they are returning to their own 'room'.

"Leaping you always say you needed a extra runner right?" Infinity asked

"Yeah." The girl responded.

"You now got one." Infinity points to me, "Wait what?" I step forward, I am not sure that is going on, and most importantly, what is a runner?

"Good." She smiled, cross her arms. "Spirit, isn't it ?"

"Yes."

She take a long look at me, and soon a smirk grows on her face, "good..." she said to herself.

"Right Spirit, break of dawn, meet me at the entrance. Sharp." She turn and walk away.

"What?" I turn to Infinity.

"Runners are one of the 'jobs' you can choose from, along with, hunter, medic, builders." Infinity starts to explain.

"Runner are those who seek for new areas and loot, Leaping's team only got two and adding you on will be enough to go safely."

"But why me?" I protests.

"You are the only one, who out run Anti-WisteriaMoon, and your the only one who looks strong enough to run, and if I am correct, you just travel from Serpia to the edge of Coral Canyons, that is acturally a very long distance." She smiled due to my shocking face.

"What if I say no?"

"You can't, because I order you to do it."

This is ridiculous, why me? Why force me? This doesn't make any sense.

"Right see you tomorrow." Infinity passes and pat me on the back.
